Eric Jones at Sheehy GMC was absolutely amazing to work with. He was polite, knowledgeable, and never pushy, which made the entire car-buying experience comfortable and stress-free. Eric kept us informed throughout the whole process and took the time to answer all of our questions clearly and honestly. His professionalism and communication really stood out. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Eric to anyone looking for a great salesperson.

The sales team is PHENOMENAL. This is my second time purchasing a vehicle from this dealership and it has been amazing both times.
The sales team is kind and helpful, not pushy at all. Negotiations are done in the customer’s favor. The manager, Anthony, did everything he could to meet me at the number I wanted (including giving me more for my trade in). My salesperson, Tyler, was AMAZING; he knew about all the features of the vehicle, walked me through them, stayed in contact after the sale, and ensured he did everything he could to set me up for success.
Kate, in charge of financing is another powerhouse of the dealership. She made the process absolutely painless, was so excited for me, and walked me through the warranties. She even did what she could to give me a deal there too!
A really pleasant surprise was when I called OnStar to set it up and the representative even told me the dealership gifted me extra time with the subscription 🥹.
Unlike other dealerships who are more interested in moving cars than customer satisfaction, Sheehy put in the work. The staff know about the products they’re selling, they are open and honest, always kept my best interests in mind, and made it so much fun to get a new car.
I cannot recommend this dealership enough. Honestly, look no further for a sales team with integrity. If there’s a car you have in mind, let them know; they will ensure they get you in the right car for a respectable price.

We just purchased a ‘26 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4X at Sheehy of Fredericksburg and consider it one of, if not the, best auto purchasing experiences we’ve had in 25+ years of buying/trading/selling. The Sales Associate, Tyler, was friendly, professional, and helpful. The Sales Manager, Brandon, was equally great to work with and helped us feel comfortable with his transparent and casual style. Thank you, to the whole Sheehy team! BTW if you keep your cars at least five (5) years, do yourself a favor and buy the MVP package for services…it’s a financial no-brainer, unless you strongly prefer to do your own maintenance.

Worst purchasing experience ever! My day started at 11:09 with a phone call to a sales rep Tyler who was awesome. He provided me the information I needed, as I am an out-of-state buyer From North Carolina. At a 20 year veteran in the auto industry, I didn’t expect to have the experience I received today..
I found the Sierra 2584 that I’ve been looking for on their website. I know that I have a trade. I understand the ins and outs of a deal. I thought their price was fair. However, the trade was a more concerned to me. So the salesman, Tyler, informed me that his manager, Mr. Gibbs put a range of value on my ram 3500 between 63 and 65,000. That I would need to drive up and could possibly get more. Well, I certainly am not gonna drive four hours to be told something different so I tried to see if they would guarantee at least 64,000 as I received that quote from Carvana as a buy figure Tyler guaranteed me in text at 64,000 was guaranteed and that I should just go ahead and drive up. I said before I drive I’d love to submit my credit application and secure financing then that way my time at the dealership would be quick and painless as everything would be locked in.
By 3:30 PM I get a call from Mr. Gibbs who stated that he couldn’t give me the money that I’m looking for on my trade and said he could only do 60,000. And that he was sorry he couldn’t do the deal. So being that I wanted the truck, I’ve made a decision to go ahead and sell my truck to Carvana for the 64 and I asked Mr. Gibbs could he deliver the truck to me. And he said no I’d have to fly and drive in and get a train. SHADY TO SAY THE LEAST! Good job turning around a buyer and make them jump through hoops and then tell em deals off the table. Poor negotiation tactics! Stay away!

Awful experience with service department. Appointment was made in advance for Dec 2nd. I asked specific questions about price and what needed at time of appointment and advised I would be waiting for service. I show up for appointment and told a completely different price. When I said I would be waiting, I was looked at like I was confused and informed that I would have to leave car for a few days as they had no one to fix it. I pulled out the piece of paper and advised who I spoke with and recap of conversation. The service advisor's response was oh we hear this all the time about the call center giving wrong information. I spoke then with the manager Andrew Boehm and got the same response. Obviously, they know there is a problem and are taking no action to correct it. Andrew asked for my name and number and said he would be calling me. The next day I get a call from someone stating I had never shown up for my appointment. I couldn't believe it. I explained what happened and she said she would have the manager call me. It is 15 days later and no call. I reviewed the other negative ratings and see that no one from the dealership comments on the negative reviews, only the positive ones. Spoke with a co-worker and they said they also had negative experiences with Sheehy. I will be sure to tell everyone I come in contact to avoid their service department. If a service manager doesn't bother to call customers or address issues, they obviously could care less about retaining or getting new customers. Horrible customer service and all-around awful experience.
