- GSGem StoneApr 13, 20263.0Pause before going to this location- reconsider the one on South Lamar, which I have never had an issue with. - Took our newly purchased SUV in on Friday for an oil change, the same day we picked up the vehicle from the person we bought it from. Drove to work on Saturday and upon returning home, we noticed an oil stain where the car had been parked. Drove a short distance to complete an errand on Sunday and when we got out of the vehicle, it smelled overwhelmingly like oil. Today we will be addressing this situation with the company, I expect them to have the vehicle towed to a mechanic of our choice to assess the situation. My review and rating will either be increasing or decreasing based on the follow up, as I will be updating this review accordingly. First Update- a service representative told us that we had to wait 72 hours – apparently we are not able to drive our car or have any financial reimbursement or assistance for the next 72 hours. This is very concerning considering that our financial dependence is reliant upon a running/reliable vehicle. Second Update- we were able to speak with their manager yesterday, he offered to do damage control by trying to correct the responsible technicians mistake. Our mechanic wanted to look at it before Jiffy Lube got their hands on it again, and had it moved to his shop.
