  I took my car there and had amazing experience with all staff members I talked to, I was greeted by George and Jalen in great spirit. Justin took care of my car by changing my oil and changing my tires, he was patient, well spoken and ensured I had no questions about the service.

  They are open on a Sunday and it’s Mother’s Day! I had a nail in my tire, I was in and out of the shop in 30 minutes! They were friendly and informative, very happy with the service and price! Thank you and will be back again!

  I recently visited Mavis Tires & Brakes in Monmouth Junction for a wheel alignment on my 2023 Honda CR-V, and I had a great experience. The price was very reasonable compared to other places I checked. What really stood out was the service—there was no waiting time at all, and the staff were kind, professional, and easy to talk to. Everything was handled quickly and efficiently. I’ll definitely be coming back here for future service!

  Had horrible experience at Mavis tire, Rt 1, Monmouth Jct. Was confronted by rude, arrogant, argumentative and threatening employee at the counter and outside the store. As my sister and I were trying to tell the employee what services we wanted, he became increasingly agitated and accused us of talking at him, whatever that means. I don't know what form of communication he expected. My sister remained inside, I went outside to the car, and was followed by this obviously unhinged employee, who became even more combative and threatening. I remained calm and tried to point out the services we wanted, while he engaged in hysterical rantings, saying " who do you think you are, I'm not your slave, and don't walk away from me, etc. I have been going to this location for 30 years, and have been reasonably satisfied. In my 74 years, I've done all kinds of business, with all kinds people, and have never been verbally assaulted and threatened by someone. At checkout, I refused to deal with him, and he muttered, " still a tough guy " or words to that effect, and I was then helped by a sane person. The employee taking payment was meekly apologetic, as I explained how upsetting this whole experience was for my sister and I, but nothing was really done to address our dissatisfaction. In any legitimate business this unhinged and threatening employee would have been fired on the spot. This location has been in decline for some time now. It is evident in the facility and the employees. Patronize this business at your peril, I will not be returning, and would encourage others to find more competent professional tire shops.
