I had an amazing experience working with Mindy McCorkle while buying my Jeep. From start to finish, she was professional, patient, honest, and truly made the whole process smooth and stress-free. She answered every question I had, made sure I understood everything, and never made me feel pressured. Mindy went above and beyond to help me find the right Jeep and made sure I was comfortable with my decision. Her customer service was outstanding, and you can tell she genuinely cares about her customers and wants them to leave happy. If you’re looking for someone knowledgeable, friendly, and trustworthy, I highly recommend asking for Mindy McCorkle. She made this one of the best car-buying experiences I’ve ever had. Thank you again, Mindy, for all your help — I absolutely love my Jeep!

We were in need of a new work van for our company. John Glusak was very helpful and had just what we needed. We agreed to an out-the-door price, a deposit placed to reserve the van and came back the next week to finalize the purchase. When we came to finalize the purchase it was very smooth, other than the wait to finalize the financing. Very happy with our experience at Hawk Auto Joliet and John Glusak!!!

I don’t know how I came in contact with this hawk Chevy but my experience was amazing Wilson was a blessing and cool as ever he literally worked with me and stayed on top of everything I had an emergency tire break on my car that I own I was worried and emotionally exhausted not knowing how I’m a continue to get to work so I can continue paying my bills & taking care of my children I had less then $700 saved because my birthday was a week before this happened Wilson literally worked with me and the banks he went above and beyond to see that I got a car after I honestly told him my situation he still helped and made it happen for me with less then $300 monthly car note I prayed so hard and god listened.. I recommend them to anyone WILSON is top tier he’s super nice ,chill and professional above and beyond… he needs a raise cause I cannot thank him enough the process was completely done over the phone when I got there paperwork was already printed and car was ready

If you push back or ask questions trying to buy a car from here, they avoid and dodge you like the plague. They have a 2023 Blazer on the lot right now that I was very interested in. I took it to my mechanic yesterday and immediately after they lifted it up, they see that the engine is covered in oil. I saw it myself, oil everywhere. I brought it back and told them if they fix the issue, I'd come back. They claimed to have already fixed the issue with a certified RO and the oil was residual. I asked why they wouldn't clean the engine after the repair as this is part of a TSB from GM for these 2.0L turbos which, per GM, they are supposed to clean the engine, verify and reseal if necessary. I was told by a sales manager named Brian that they "don't do that". Well, if you don't clean the engine, how do you know if it's still leaking or not? I guess they could have put dye in it and checked it that way. But if that's the case, why wouldn't they be trying to show me this to close a sale? I also inquired why on a 3 year old car with less than 20k miles that the front calipers had been replaced and they claim the calipers were "warped". Now, maybe I just haven't seen such a thing, but I've been doing my own brakes since I was 16 (now 35) and never have I ever had a caliper warp before. All of this was yesterday on the last day of the month and they didn't get the sale. Now it's the first of the month and... crickets. I will say that they negotiated a great deal for me on this vehicle. But now that I have been questioning and asking for paperwork and verification of repairs done, I haven't heard anything from them all day. At this point, I am left to assume that they were trying to sell a lemon to me at a premium price hoping that I wouldn't do any research or ask any questions. And I would love for someone from this dealership to prove me wrong on that because I would love to be wrong about all of it. But I think I dodged a bullet. Make sure you always take a used car for a PPI!! It could save you thousands of dollars and years of headaches!

If you’ve got a few hours to kill and want an entertaining lesson in poor communication and lowball offers, this might be your place. We asked earlier in the week to have a vehicle transferred from Niles to Joliet and were told, “we shift units frequently, that won’t be an issue at all—what day/time works for you?” Great. Booked for Saturday. They had 5 full days. We show up… salesperson has no idea we even have an appointment. Sit for 30 minutes, get handed off, wait another 30… just to find out the car was never transferred. No call, no update, nothing. So we pivoted to another used car of a similar make/model. They “discounted” it, but it was clearly priced above fair market value to begin with, so nothing special there. Then comes the best part—negotiation. Manager comes over, says dealerships “don’t really negotiate,” then proceeds to talk loudly over me. Like, borderline shouting anytime I spoke. Super professional. I was ready to walk, but they had conveniently held onto my trade in keys for nearly 2 hours “for appraisal,” so we were stuck. Trade in offer? $1,100 less than another dealership. And a whole speech about how selling your car privately is “too much hassle”… when we could’ve made up to $5k more doing exactly that. We left, went somewhere else, and within 10 minutes were test driving a better vehicle with more features and had a normal, respectful negotiation. So we bought there instead! If you value your time, transparency, and basic respect… I’d keep looking.
