Do not go there, I needed to pay for one car wash, but they bill my card monthly now. I guess the car wash is for sale and they are trying to “cook the numbers” by inflating the number of monthly subscribers (recurring revenue) so they can ask for higher purchase prices. It will bite new owners at the end, when they realize that 30% of customers are disputing their membership.

I drove my Tesla into the car wash tunnel. Both left tires that were on the carwash conveyer belt started losing tire pressure while car was going thru the tunnel (tire pressure message appeared on the screen right then). By the time i pulled into the spot to use the vacuum, one tire was completely flat and other was half flat. I showed it to car wash staff and spoke with the manger and took pictures. I had to get the car towed to Tesla dealership and Tesla later confirmed via Tesla message app that there was no nails found, and both tires had large sliced cuts and were beyond repair. I had to pay to replace the two tires. I followed Car Wash's instructions and filed a claim with the car wash corporate office thru the car wash location office manager. But they denied the claim.

This is the 5th or 6th time I've tried to get them to correctly charge me for the membership. Since last year July, I was getting double-charged on my credit card when they switched the RFID sticker. I spent hours getting them to issue credits for double charging me, but they still kept double-charging me after I called. So I had to call again. And again. They finally removed one of the double-charges permanently, but then my account became invalid when I went to use the car wash! I was instructed to cancel the whole membership and then sign up as a new member. I canceled the membership, but somehow I am still getting charged. So I'm back to the same issue of being double-charged each month. That's the reason for the 1 star. I cannot speak to a live person anymore. Now only email correspondence is available, and I am left feeling so frustrated and aggravated that this has gone on for almost a year.

We have had the basic $17 monthly membership to Take 5 car wash for over a year. When we pulled up this week, an employee informed us that the car wash was under new ownership (Whistle Express) and we needed to take a few minutes for them to transfer our account to the new company. When asked, they said they sent a notification email, however I have not received a communication from Take 5 or Whistle Express. We asked if the monthly fee would stay the same and they said it would increase “by a few dollars”. Looking at the Whistle Express website, the basic wash monthly amount is $23 (an increase of $6). Searching Google, I see that Whistle Express officially acquired over 530 Take 5 Car Washes in early 2025. At a minimum, I think the carwash employees should handout a flyer to the current monthly customers as they enter the line notifying them of the transition and the price increases so they can understand the changes before making a decision on the spot.

It started to drizzle. I couldn't even feel it but I could see it in the windshield. They shut all the vacuums off. Fine.. it's their policy. We then all stood around for 20 min without a single drop of rain or even a mist waiting for them to be turned back on while the GM wasn't paying attention. I finally asked if she was planning to turn them back on and she had no idea it had stopped raining... 20 min ago. We got the vacuums for about 2 min then I kid you not... ONE whisp of a drop fell and she shut them all back off one second later. I've been sitting here without a single drop for 10 more minutes and she's yet to turn them back on. She clearly cares more about getting a break than running her facility.
