- EAEvendove ArtsJun 4, 20191.0I parked my car there and later I went up to leave and my car wouldn't start. I hang up some material on my windows to avoid prying eyes and keep out extra heat during the next day while I'm away, until I can get it started. As I'm sitting there ordering uber on my phone a "security" guard, named Peacock, comes up and just says "you can't be hanging out in your car drunk and drinking all night!" I'm stunned and about to explain what's going on... that I've planned on paying overnight parking and my car won't start but he just interrupts me and says the same thing and "I've warned you" and walks then drives away. Did he ask if I was okay? NO. DID HE ASK IF I NEEDED HELP (WHICH I DID!)? NO. Was I drinking or inebriated? No! I get a ride back the next evening and go up to check on my car and call my insurance to come jump or tow it. AS I'M SITTING THERE ON THE PHONE WITH THE INSURANCE COMPANY THE SAME "gentleman" walked up to me and says the exact same words, this time with a threat: "I've warned you now twice and if I see you again I'm calling the Montgomery County police!" and walked away without offering to help...AGAIN! Even after I finally got two words in (my battery is dead and I'm on the phone getting help right now). I almost wish he HAD called the cops so at least someone would have offered to listen and help. Even my insurance rep was astounded and heard it all. Then ANOTHER security guy came and said the same thing not 5 minutes later!! I mean...is chivalry as dead as my battery?? I don't look like a hoodlum. I'm a single Mommy in an SUV for crying out loud. Now God forbid I wait with my car and get tazed or something so I guess I'll stand on the sidewalk in the rain for my tow truck. I am filing a report about this. This wasn't right. What if I had been needing serious help? Who trains these guys?? I love the woodlands and the waterway and have lived here for a while, but I will NEVER use this garage again.
