    Great Product - Poor Staff Execution Buyers Beware Case #05726400 We chose Camping World Spring, TX for our MB Thor Eddie Bauer 19EB purchase (Stock #2204772). Unfortunately, our delivery experience on October 28 was disappointing. Key issues included: 1. Poor exterior and interior cleaning—vehicle had wax, caulk residue, and muddy footprints inside. 2. Walk-through was incomplete; the associate was unfamiliar with equipment details. 3. The gray water tank was full while the fresh water tank was empty and probably not sanitized at delivery. 4. Several features were malfunctioning or missing: keys, seat upholstery, wiring, cabinetry quality, undercoating, DEF tank fill, and manual documentation. 5. Some items (side door screen, keys, interior taillight covers, refrigerator shelf rail ) were to be replaced but have not been resolved. Personnel interactions varied: Administration personnel were excellent; sales associates lacked follow-through; service associates had limited knowledge. Despite multiple follow-ups, key problems remain unresolved, including missing items and poor communication regarding repairs. Repeated attempts to resolve missing keys, seat repair, labeling, and hardware defects have met with delays and inadequate responses from staff and management. Recent scheduled service was missed without notice on November 20, 2025. After waiting and begging for assistance from the local dealership in Spring, TX and Camping World corporate for almost a month, we remain unsatisfied with the purchase experience. As indicated above, our unit is great. It is just the lack of follow through from the sales and service staff that is totally inadequate.

    We had a great experience and Tristian Cox is awesome. So if you need a new RV or just want to see what the options are go to him! He took his time and let us look and decide what was best for us and he is very knowledgeable! So go see him today !!!!!

    I would have rated them negative if that option existed. The service department is honestly the worst I’ve ever dealt with. I bought a pre-owned motorhome from the Katy location, and the inspector found that the LP test failed. Since we live closer to the Spring location, we were told to bring it there for service. We did, and after waiting for a week and calling several times without getting any response, I had to go there in person a couple of times just to get an update. Finally, they called and said it was done. We picked it up last Saturday, the 8th. I specifically asked if it had been fixed, and they said yes — so I trusted them and didn’t even check the report right away. Later, when I was putting the paperwork in my binder, I found out they did NOTHING about it. Absolutely nothing! If they didn’t do any work, why make us wait a week and tell us it was fixed? This is completely unacceptable and beyond frustrating. I will never deal with this service department again.

    Terrible Experience but a Blessing in Disguise My husband and I, along with our four children, visited Camping World excited to see an RV we were genuinely interested in purchasing. To our surprise, we were told that we had to pay in full just to view the RV, which is absolutely absurd. We already had our pre-approval and down payment ready to go, but the salesman sitting in the center of the lot, texting on his phone, simply said, “When you’re ready to buy, I’ll show you the inside.” That kind of treatment speaks volumes. We left immediately and went to Blue Compass RV the same day, where we were treated with respect and transparency. Within hours, we finalized everything and drove away with our 2026 Aurora QTS. No games, no nonsense. So, to that Camping World salesman, thank you for being the worst salesman we’ve ever met. You were the reason we found the right dealership. To anyone considering buying here, be cautious, the sales reps seem more focused on money than on helping families find the right RV.

    Update The further you get away from having a new purchase and especially when you're not very local in the area, you can tell the consistency with return calls or return emails really drops off. It shouldn't take several weeks to respond to an email for god sakes! I hope the service department and Sterling get notified. Leaving 4 stars not lower because they did make some efforts while there I also had to go back multiple times for several things though and my unit was not very well inspected before dilvery and it is new RV with 120K MSRP. Did not appreciate that had to just show up in person at one point to get some issues addressed that should have been taken care of before this things was even sold quite frankly. Bee trying to get ahold of Financial Manager and Service for several weeks and no reply. Do not go with the Insurance company they recommend! Went through several days of HELL with this Good Sam offshoot Insurance company. Been on the phone for 120 minutes with just this one call and several hours or other calls. Worst insurance I have ever had. Took multiple calls and like 3 plus hours for roadside assistance that I had to pay for..What a complete mess.
