I waited a while to cool down before posting this negative review after my buying experience here in October 2025. The first thing I noticed was the “No Jury Trial’ clause in the purchase agreement because it’s unconstitutional on both state and federal levels of governance. I protested and marked the clause on the purchase agreement accordingly after they refused to remove it, but went ahead with the purchase of a new RV there anyway. After the pre-purchase walkthrough, I found a damaged steel cross member they sloppily repaired with hammer and poorly-applied paint. Then they delivered the wrong unit to my property and the delivery driver did not want to take it back. They did not know the wrong unit had been delivered to me until I called and told them about it several hours after the delivery driver had left my property. Apparently, it was not that driver’s job to report the problem, either. They scrambled rapidly to retrieve the wrongly delivered unit because it was due for delivery to its actual owner the next day, but initially balked at delivering my chosen new RV of same brand and model, claiming there were site access issues which somehow were not an issue for delivery and retrieval of the wrong unit of exactly the same length, and width to and from my property. They seemed to be angry at me about their own mistake. After talking with the driver who had quickly and successfully retrieved the wrong unit delivered by the first driver, he stated he could see no reason he couldn’t deliver my own RV and did so without any problems. But after finally taking delivery of the correct unit, the complete set of keys to it were missing. I spent two days searching for them without success while Camping World management asked me to look in various places I had already looked for them. They eventually agreed to send a locksmith out to make a new set of keys after I complained to the RV manufacturer about it. By this time it was getting cold enough to need to use the furnace in the new RV but it would not stay lit. They apparently had not checked it out thoroughly at the lot before delivering the unit to me. Now I must get an authorized repair technician to come out and fix it. Overall, a bad buying experience from the start and I cannot recommend Camping World in Sherman, TX.

First off, let me start by saying they went above and beyond my salesperson. Wyatt, the general manager Rex. And Sean, who also assisted in making this process flawless. Let's just start by saying rex came in on his day off to make sure my paperwork was ready when I arrived. My salesperson wyatt jumped through hoop after hoop, to make sure that I could obtain a unit that was halfway across the country.Fly to it and drive it back home myself. This being an odd request. There were several moving parts they made. The process seamless, if you're looking for a camper or r v, please do not.Hesitate to reach out to anyone here at the sherman location.
