So ima keep it as short and as simple as I possibly can. Stay away from this place. You can give them EVERYTHING they need via text, and will tell you empty promises like “it’ll be be similar to [my] current payment” and that “[they’re] not allowed to disclose… personal information over text/calls” just to get you in the door to waste a hour or two of your life. Mind you, I did the credit application online so they knew where I stood on the matter. I knew it wasn’t the time to get a new car. At that, it was cut short because I told them my time is the most valuable thing to me and to let me go before the BS PMO. I’m not one to leave many reviews, but this irritated me profusely as it wasn’t even my idea to get a new car. These people reached out to me. I kept insisting I wanted to know ROUGH numbers over text so we wouldn’t waste anyone’s time. But I went to discuss it went them in person anyways because they said it would work for the vehicle we were ok trading for, they just needed to appraise the vehicle. We get there, and I stated my trade in was negative 8 grand, and they stated 7 grand was my actual negative equity. So I was harsher to myself by a grand. Instantly, the payment they showed me was twice the payment we were aiming for. AFTER 6 grand for a down payment. In short stay away from this place. Same tactics as Alamo Toyota, I will never buy from this place again. And Shottenkirk. Shame on you. Wasting my time, when I exclaimed profusely my time is valuable to me. I guess that’s just how you treat disabled veterans I suppose. Don’t bother contacting me anymore. Attached you will see a screenshot of the text below in case there’s doubt for whatever reason. Never again.

I wanted to share I was out of town and needed help with my sons car and the entire team from the GM Cody to Rodrigo and the service staff worked with me to help my son get his car in and new tires and oil change and they treated him at a VIP level. I always worry about my kids but the entire team really went over and beyond for my son and his GR Corolla. Great place to send you family.

My experience at Shottenkirk Toyota was beyond amazing. I recently referred over my coworkers and close friends. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by friendly staff. I had a Gmc Terrain that I wanted to trade out of and they were very aggressive with my trade appraisal. They definitely offered me more than what I expected to get. I was greeted by managers and team leads and they assured me that I was going to drive away in a new Toyota Tacoma that same day. Sure enough, I am now in my new Toyota Tacoma and I could not be any more happier with my purchase. If you are in the market for a new vehicle or a preowned give Shottenkirk Toyota an opportunity. You won’t be let down.

Bought a pre-owned car here on 11/15/2025. I was sold the Platinum extended warranty but I was not given any kind of proof of coverage. I have tried several times to contact the Finance Manager to no avail. I have also used the Live Chat to no avail. Very disappointing. They are eager to make a sale but service has been disappointing. My fault was that in the sales process, I did not ask for a brochure. Buyer BEWARE>

I am having a really difficult time with this location. This location is very close to my home so it was convenient when I moved to San Antonio to have my vehicle serviced here. Basic maintenance was okay. However, my 2024 TOYOTA CAMRY XSE V6 has an issue with the driver side carpet coming untucked. After doing some research, I have found that this is not a new issue with Toyota Camrys. I have been trying to get this issue resolved for months. Shottenkirk has kept my car on two different occasions all day without giving me a loaner vehicle and I am still having the same issue. There also seems to be a lack of communication amongst the team and no sense of urgency to get my issue resolved. I am not sure if that's because fixing a manufacturer / warranty issue is not profitable. I feel I have been patient but my patience has run thin. Initially, I was told that my whole carpet was going to be replaced and my car was going to be kept for 2 days because they would have to pull the seats out to replace the carpet. I was surprised by this but the service advisor named Megan ( I am not sure if this is the proper spelling) told me that Toyota knew about this issue with my carpet and this was the fix for it for my carpet. In a second conversation with Megan, that changed and she told me they could get it done in one day but when I showed up for my appointment at 7 a.m., the carpet had not been ordered. That morning I found out that the game plan had changed but I was assured that this was going to fix my issue. Megan was not there that day or available to talk to. She also never contacted me further about the issue. I talked to the service agent there and he even went to get one of the guys from the back to talk to me and show me what it is they were going to do with my . I was not totally convinced that this was the fix because this is not what I was told was going to happen, but I trusted them because they were the experts and my carpet had not indeed been ordered. They had my car all day and I picked it up right before it closed. By the time I got down the street to pick up dinner, the carpet was already untucking again. Eventually I made another appointment to get the the issue resolved again. They were supposed to come up with a game plan to get this resolved. I was supposed to be without my car for 1 to 2 hours while they talked to Toyota but I ended up without my car for almost the entire business day. However I was assured that the problem was resolved. About a week later, the carpet started untucking again. Here we are dealing with the same issue again. Today, I called and talked to someone and I felt like it was the same song and dance. I am beyond frustrated as this is my first toyota. I had my Honda for over 11 years and never had any aesthetic or mechanical issues. I had another Honda that was a 1995 Honda Accord that never had any issues until it was involved in an accident decades later. So you can see why it's frustrating that I can't seem to get any resolution on something as simple as a carpet on a 2024 Toyota Camry. More importantly, this time I could tell the carpet was untucking because I could feel the carpet sliding a bit under my feet when I was driving. It seems that this might become a safety issue and again there is no sense of urgency to get it fixed. I feel like Shottenkirk is lacking on the customer service. When I talk to service advisors, there seems to be no notes in the computer and I have to repeat myself over and over each time they make me talk to someone else. That has become frustrating. Even today when I called to talk to a guy, I asked him what notes he left in the computer. And he told me he left none. I had to insist that he leaves some notes for the next service person. It would seem that that is a basic customer service protocol. I am hoping to get this fixed and this time with a solid plan that does not require me to be without a vehicle (I will require a loaner car at no cost to me). I am hoping to get some traction on resolving my issue expeditiously.
