The tale of 2 car dealers Went to Cavender Toyota. Requested to drive 3 different vehicles. We buy based on what we want. Doesn’t have to be a specific color. Doesn’t have to be a specific size. Doesn’t even have to be a specific type of vehicle. I might want a truck. I might want a mini van. I might want a sports car. All depends on we want, nothing else. Toyota was determined to play the old “hard sell” trick on us. Find out what we want so we can get into the right car and sign a contract same-day. Trouble was, we text drove 1 vehicle and it took 2 hours. We drove around parking lots filled with vehicles we weren’t interested in. We heard facts we didn’t care about, and what we wanted to drive they didn’t have. Such a waste of time. At the end, the sales manager comes out to in his mind seal the deal. The deal was not sealed. I had given them my address and phone number so they could get quote for what they would give us for our old car. I have my info like they requested, but they refused to give me a price without locking in a vehicle…So we walked out, mad. The day was about over but we wanted to make one last stop and that was at North Park Mazda. We were greeted in the parking lot barely after getting out of the car. We were walked to the door where Giovanni met us. We wanted to test drive 2 vehicles. So that’s what he let us do. He answered every single question, didn’t make things up. Told us facts. The car was amazing to drive and exactly what we wanted. We drove off an hour later in the new vehicle and not a thread of buyer’s remorse the next morning. Talk about a good experience. I will likely be returning to this specific location in the future. I love how they do business. It’s not about getting a gigantic deal and squeezing the dealership for every penny, it’s about a great driving experience, sales process, and what you get for what you buy.

My wife and I did not have a great experience at World Car Mazda North. Made an appt, showed up early and no one showed or even approached us for assistance. Waited 40 mins, texted our salesman and no response. We called North Park Mazda and Ben Garza (no relation) took our information, scheduled an appt and we were in and out in about an hour. Staff was amazing, finance guy (Nikolas) got us a great interest rate. By far the best experience I had buying a car. I will definitely buy from them again.

Unprofessional, disrespectful, and immature. Julian Gomez, finance, terrible customer service skills. Young man does not know how to speak or present himself in a professional manner whatsoever. Matt Fraser, sales manager, clearly upset when things don't go his way. When there's an issue you keep your composure and speak respectfully, not as a child. No disrespect to maintenance as they were most likely instructed by Mr. Fraser. They seem to have been told to yank a light out from a car off the lot to use replacement for a defective one on a new vehicle we were purchasing. Plans only changed when I interjected that I was offered a new light not "new to me." When being corrected a clearly flustered Mr. Fraser busted out of the maintenance door and blurted out "here a new light, still in the box!" A thank you to Mike Anderson, sales associate, for keeping total composure and professionalism. Never once showed attitude and truly showed a willingness to work with us.

I’ve had a great experience with this dealership from the very beginning. When I bought my car on 3/9/2024, everything went smoothly. My salesperson, Julian, made the process easy and stress-free. I was so happy with my experience that I later sent my daughter there, and Julian was also able to help her get into a vehicle. Since then, I’ve continued to bring my car here for all of my service needs, and the service department has always been just as great. Jefferson Norona is usually my service consultant, and he truly goes out of his way to help in any way he can. Everyone is always respectful, kind, and professional. The waiting area is very comfortable, with snacks, water, coffee, sodas, TV, and clean restrooms. It makes waiting for service easy and pleasant. I highly recommend this place for both purchasing a vehicle and ongoing service.

I run one of the premier mobile auto repair businesses in San Antonio, Texas. I buy parts from every dealer in town and our company strives to use only the highest quality parts. Most of the time those parts come from the dealer or from premium aftermarket sellers. As an industry standard if you buy parts from a dealership, they always require a vin. As a professional, we always make sure to have that information ready and never try to haggle prices with dealers. We treat them with respect and we treat their time with respect. This parts department has typically been very good, but recently we’ve noticed a down tick in reliability. Andrew in the parts department provided a completely wrong batch of brake rotors that cost my company 130+ dollars. Is it at the end of the world? No, am I pissed about it yes. Sadly, other Mazda dealers are even worse than this Dealer. So I feel like I have no choice, but to continue to do business with this dealership, but because I have no recourse in any other way than leaving a bad review, this is how I choose to voice my grievances. A dealership should be the pinnacle of service and expertise. There should never be a wrong parts order coming from a dealership’s parts department. They have access to all of the most in-depth catalog possible. My review simply reflects on the parts department no other department no experience with sales no experience with Service.
