Our relationship with Cutting Edge Auto has been a long-standing one, primarily through my wife's consistently positive encounters over the years. Their reliable service and professionalism, as experienced by her, cannot go unrecognized and deserve due acknowledgment.
However, my recent interaction with them paints a slightly different picture, one that necessitates sharing for a balanced perspective. In the midst of a sweltering day, I found myself in need of a Freon refill—a straightforward request, one would assume. Yet, the situation quickly devolved into a less-than-ideal customer service experience. After an hour-long wait under the punishing sun, I was informed that their Freon machine was malfunctioning and that I would need to return another time. While an apology was offered, along with a suggestion to purchase Freon independently for them to fill, the understanding seemed to falter from there.
Seeking to confirm the cost of this service, given the inconvenience and previous wait, I was surprised to find the proposed charge to be $50. My attempts to negotiate, considering the circumstances, were met with frustration and ultimately, a sharp retort—"This ain't the price is right!"—followed by a disheartening dial tone.
This interaction left me feeling undervalued as a customer, questioning the eagerness of Cutting Edge Auto to foster new client relationships. Despite this, I feel it's important to maintain fairness in my review, hence the 3-star rating. The respect and satisfaction my wife has consistently found with their service cannot be overlooked, and it is in the spirit of these positive past experiences that I choose to leave room for improvement, rather than outright dismissal.
In hopes of a better future engagement, I urge Cutting Edge Auto to consider the full spectrum of customer service, recognizing the value of every individual's experience.
