I had been going to AutoZone for 22+years, but I guess I will have to stop going here for parts. 9 out of 10 employees are very rude and disrespectful. They seem to hate their job so much and they take it on customers.
A few weeks ago I bought an alternator and came home spent a day to put it in. Once I turn on the car I came to hear a metal rubbing on metal sound. I end up spent another haft a day to take it back out and try to see if I can get a replacement or return it. The store I bought it from doesn’t have another one to switch it out, but they said this location has 1. The employee from a different store said, I can get a replacement if I come here.
I call before I came but when I walk into the store, the manager took the alternator to the back and test it for 5 minutes and said the alternator is working fine. I told him that yes, it might work but there is a metal rubbing on metal sound that is why I’m try to get a replacement or return it.
He said he can’t make a return because it had been installed in the car.
Then I told him that if I didn’t install it I wouldn’t know that it is defective. I also told him you can’t hear the sound until the belt is fully tension.
He told he it could have been anything and that could be my car. I told him I have a video of it and offer to show it to him. He didn’t respond and just turned and walk away
I told him can I just get a replacement because they are the only one that have 1.
He didn’t respond, but grab another alternator slam it on the counter without a box and turn and walk away. No receipt, no response, disrespectfully turn and walk away.
I didn’t know what to do, I then looking for another staff and ask, thats all? Any receipt or sign anything? The other guy said, no.
But that guy told his employees bring that alternator to the back, box it, so he will sell it to someone else. I believe he think I am lie, without really finding out the truth or at least look at the video I try to show them.
I hope he doesn’t sell it to another customer. Because if anyone else buying it they will spent a day pull it back out and put another one in.
The employees of AutoZone back in the day are the best, out of all other auto parts store. Now a day they are the worse.

My experience at this location was nothing short of amazing!!! I had a battery issue and need it to be replaced and Elijah helped me from start to finish. He was very patient, extremely helpful, and he explained things in way way that was very easy for me to understand. The customer service that Elijah provided was above and beyond greatness. I really felt appreciated as a customer and now this location is my ‘Go-To’ for my car parts. Thanks for everything Elijah and Auto Zone!

I went there on November 3, 2025, and I had gotten a drill machine type of thing and a bunch of other stuff. When I got home and I opened the drill machine, there was no battery included. So the next day, I go and a guy starts helping me. When he opens it, he sees there is no battery. And I tell him that there was no battery when I got it. And there was an old lady. She came into the discussion and started being rude to me and thought that I had taken out the battery. She was straight up rude. So at the end, they did refund my money. But that old lady had no respect for customers. And she was looking angry as she works for free or something.

I visited this AutoZone location this evening to purchase a new battery. While speaking with an employee for assistance, I noticed the store manager preparing to close and appearing visibly upset about my late arrival. I chose to ignore it and continued my conversation, as I was trying to complete my purchase quickly and respectfully.
During this time, the manager repeatedly gave my younger brother (an 8 year old) unprofessional and disapproving looks before telling him not to touch anything even though he was simply touching a small toy duck. I asked the manager if everything was alright, as his attitude toward a child seemed unnecessary and inappropriate. He responded by saying that he was “trying to go home.” It was 10:06pm only six minutes after closing, and I had no intention of keeping them there longer than needed. When I asked for the manager’s name to document the incident, he hid his name tag, removed it, and told me to leave the store, I ended up purchasing my battery and leaving luckily. This behavior was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. A store manager should represent the company with courtesy and integrity qualities this individual clearly lacked. (Older caucasian gentleman between his 40s or 50s)
This experience left a very negative impression, and I will not be returning to this location. I hope this matter is reviewed and addressed appropriately.
