I purchased a used 2021 Mercedes GLA 35 AMG officially I picked up the car the first time drop it off had an alignment issue which I brought it back to them to get it fixed lucky it was a Saturday OK week later engine light came on something had happened in the engine. I got it fixed took time off from work to go over there I got it towed. I can even drive it further than I supposed to which I couldn’t because the engine light kept coming on and I had to park the car and get it towed to Clay Cooley of Richardson with they fix it week later in July came on back again same issue had to take off work again. I lost time I lost pay pretty much. I had to go back to fix the car. I didn’t know that car supposed to be certified and checked before purchasing. OK both times I lost hours and time and pay that was very unacceptable unprofessional which they don’t understand that I’m a single mom working I can’t afford to takeoff time like that. I need a car that’s workable. Will take me to work. Take me to a to B and I also have personal errands that I do like everyone else in the world so the second time I took it they couldn’t find the issue what was wrong with the car? I gotta tow there for them to look at I paid the fee for the tow truck which I didn’t know I had to pay so I was like OK I’ll pay it. I was overwhelmed disappointed with their service and I had a tone with them because my car wasn’t fixed the second time because the light had came off the second time around and it couldn’t find an issue the second time so if you’re selling a car, why is the engine light came on twice but two different times so you’re telling me this car was certified and ready to go. If it was ready to go it wouldn’t have breaking down on me. It’s been a workable car. I don’t even enjoy my car because I’m afraid that this car would break down with me again when I came to Clay Cooley Richardson, I felt OK this is great you know because the last Clay Cooley wasn’t very nice the in Dallas ,so this one I came to I was happy you know I got a car my own and also suddenly it broke down twice. Don’t lie to people about the cars being certified and checked by clay Cooley of Richardson. By the way, I’m still having a problem with the car. It’s not even the engine light. It’s acceleration problem so I was top of the light. OK so me wanted to go forward the light is green. I’m pressing down trying to accelerate. I’m pumping pumping, and the car won’t go so what is that a problem? Yes, it is. I’m still having this problem. They couldn’t even figure out what the problem oh I know take it off for auto start so if all the start is the problem, why haven’t you fixed it yet? Take it off auto start. You’ll be OK no that’s not OK

Worst experience ever, after being a loyal customer of 23yrs! My brand new car had engine failure 2 months /305miles after I bought it in Jan 2025, and has been sitting in their shop since April 2025, unrepaired. The service manager and the sales managers ignore my calls, produce false reports and zero ETA for repair or resolution.
Almost one year now. Avoid this place , and VW all together. Absolute rip off.

This dealer waited over a month to payoff my trade causing me to have to make a payment on my new vehicle AND the vehicle I no longer had possession of. Called Countless times, hoping for a resolution and was ghosted every time. Sales manager is rude and needs a hair transplant. Finally, after months, they paid off my car and refused for weeks to refund me the payments I made while they were screwing around in the finance department. When they got around to refunding me for my payments that I was making on a car that they owned, they refunded me less a bullshit transfer fee, which would have never existed if they had paid my car off when I traded it in. Don’t bother with this dealer. Clay Cooley of Park Cities is a short drive away and a much better option.
Edit: If the dealer wishes to respond to this appropriately you will not comment underneath this acting like you’re sorry you will reach out to me directly.

Clay Cooley VW – Richardson, TX
Today (December 29, 2025) I had a very disappointing service experience.
I booked an appointment for my VW Atlas for a 20K service plus a recall. The recall involves the engine cover (fire risk) and my engine cover has been off the vehicle for over six months, this visit was specifically to have it installed.
When I arrived at my scheduled time, I was told they might be out of the recall part. If the part wasn’t available, I don’t understand why the recall appointment was confirmed. At minimum, a courtesy call ahead of time would have saved me the trip and allowed me to decide whether to do the 20K service and come back for the recall later.
The wait was also excessive and poorly communicated. I asked for updates multiple times and still ended up being there over 3 hours. In the end, the recall was not completed, and there was no clear explanation or proactive communication.
Then at checkout I was told there’s a 3% surcharge for using a credit card, this was not disclosed in advance.
For context, I’ve purchased over $100K in vehicles in a year from this dealership and I’ve owned 8 Volkswagens. This level of communication and organization is not acceptable. I’m posting this so others can make an informed decision about getting your car serviced here as well as purchasing one. I know I will not maybe time to choose a different manufacturer?

I bought 2 Tiguans from this dealership over the last 5 years, and recently went in to upgrade to an Atlas. I had an appointment but still waited at the front for awhile with no acknowledgment. Then was paired with a salesman who was kind, however, was unsure of the vehicle I came in to look at. The website listed the vehicle as new but when I test drove the vehicle, there were 11k miles on it. I asked about purchasing a new vehicle, possibly a 2025 that may have been on the lot awhile. But the salesman went to the back and came back without giving me any upfront pricing and told me the upgrade would be over $1200 a month in payment. Didn’t run my credit or anything. I laughed and walked out. I went to another dealership who was INCREDIBLY welcoming and such a different experience. I was welcomed immediately and they worked a deal for less than half of the random quote given to me at this place. I genuinely feel like this place does not care about their customers and only about making money.
