I had a very bad experience with the dealership. I purchased 2026 SantaFe Calligraphy Hybrid AWD on 26th December. The vehicle had a big dent and multiple paint scratches at the time of delivery. Due to late night, dealership agreed to repair them on next day. In the deal i purchased 5 years clay cooley family guarantee plan. I tried reach out to them on next day they ignored my calls and messages, informed them that I am heading towards dealership. They responded immediately and asked me to come to dealership on Monday for the fixes. I also noticed, they did not give complete deal documents. On Monday, I got to know they have updated my email address wrongly because of which i have never received any emails from hyundai regarding bluelink setup or loan information. They also informed me that my deal does not include 5 years family guarantee plan despite i paid the price for it. As 1 year family guarantee is included for all vehicles, I decided to return the vehicle back to dealership as i am completely unsatisfied with their response and behavior. The dealership accepted the vehicle back, and the sales team and manager acknowledged the return.
However, no written confirmation or return documentation was provided by the manager, and despite multiple follow-ups by email, the dealership has not responded at all to confirm that the contract and financing were canceled.
This lack of communication and documentation after accepting a returned vehicle is extremely concerning. I am still waiting for simple written confirmation that the transaction is fully canceled and that there are no remaining obligations under my name.
I hope management addresses this promptly and improves transparency and follow-through for customers.

A car returned it according to policy 3 days same condition under 150 miles they still yet have not sent me the paperwork that they cancelled
I’ve spoke with so many different people
I’m receiving mail that I have a new car and a email from the lender thanking me for joining
I’ve been told they’ll call me back and I still have not heard or know if matter is resolved people and place like this make you leave reviews call corporate emails customer service etc because they don’t keep their word and follow do etc

Extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience
I worked with a salesman at Clay Cooley Hyundai of Mesquite for several days on a vehicle. I asked for the car to be run through their inspection process and detailed before purchase. I was already pre-qualified with my bank, and the dealership sent the purchase order to my bank, so everything was moving forward in good faith.
Before I went to pick the car up, the dealership suddenly claimed there was damage that was not present when I test drove the vehicle. They said they would fix the damage but pressured me to move forward with the deal while waiting on the repair.
Yesterday at 2:00 PM, the salesman explicitly told me they would not sell the car out from under me. This morning, I reached out to ask when the repair would be completed—only to be told the car had already been sold.
This was a complete waste of my time and shows a serious lack of communication, integrity, and professionalism. If you value transparency and honest business practices, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

I had the pleasure of working with Tanner n he actually surpassed my expectations for buying a new car. I went in with an open mind and a list of what I wanted in my new car n he met all of those things and then some. He didn’t haggle me with a lot of words prices or cars. Just straightforward to the part n I loved that. I now have my first ever big dealership BRAND NEW 2026 HYUNDAI KONA n I couldn’t be more happier with it. Thank you Tanner and CLAY COOLEY!!!!! I had a fantastic experience with Clay Cooley Hyundai in Mesquite! Even though Nathan Myers is no longer at this location, he was incredibly helpful and responsive via email, providing me with all the information I needed to get the ball rolling.
Once I arrived for service, Christopher Doyle, took excellent care of everything. He was professional, clear about the process, and made sure I was kept in the loop the entire time. It’s rare to find this level of teamwork and communication across different departments and locations. Highly recommend this team!
