  We purchased a motorhome one month ago. Our sales experience with Coby was great As well as Christian in the finance department. However, things went downhill from there. We asked that our motorhome be detailed before we picked it up. It was not. When we were doing the cleaning, we found rat pellets in the drawers. Wires that were disconnected. The cleaning was only surface level. The add-on package of the flat tow package was not acceptable. Delays in shipping, including Incorrect parts. Once we received the parts, we thought everything was gonna hook up correctly, that’s what we were told however, that was not the case at all. We ended up spending almost $1000.00 with discount hitch in Grapevine to make the towing experience safe. We would’ve considered going back to camping world to get things fixed, but the trust level was gone. Several times we have asked for the keys to the motorhome to lock the door and the storage compartments. To this day, we still do not have keys to lock up our belongings and our dog while we’re out or while and the motorhome is in-storage. . At this point, we are not sure how we are going to resolve the Key issue

  Please save yourself the trouble and go to another location. Waited 3 hours to sign paperwork. Asked to speak to the manager and these guys were so rude and not compassionate at all:

  Absolutely the most unprofessional & disorganized business I've ever dealt with in any capacity! Why am I not able to leave negative stars for this group of incompetent jokes? It took 3 & a half months to fight my "good sam" membership ID out of these people. Supposed to have had it with the initial paperwork I left the location with. Noone will return a phone call in a timely fashion. If you do business with this location, be mindful of the paperwork you sign. Surely you can find another location that is worth a shot, give their Lewisville location a hard pass. Horrible customer service!

  I attended Camping World RV Sales for a simple oil change for my rented RV - we are a family from Australia doing a big road trip around the USA and had put some big miles on our unit! We were also experiencing some issues with our fridge, and the team here kindly had a look and appear that they may have resolved it. I won't know for sure for a little while, but they didn't need to do this. They went above and beyond in an effort to help us. In particular I'd like to thank Amy and Blake for their kindness and concern. Very much appreciated.

  I purchased a camper from Camping World's Lewisville, Texas location and the experience has been nothing short of alarming. I was assured the camper was in great condition, I later discovered minor issues, and serious safety issues like undercarriage rust, worn out tires, disintegrating brakes. When I requested inspection and service records, the dealership repeatedly failed to provide them and even claimed I needed a subpoena for these documents. This lack of transparency and refusal to provide basic information along with a remedy has been incredibly frustrating. Even after multiple attempts to escalate the issue they have not been cooperative. I expected better customer service, honesty, especially since it involved safety and negligence. The entire staff involving the sale of this camper including service department to managers are no longer there.... In my experience I believe salesman should not be taken at there word. They will say anything even if its incorrect. Make sure everything is written down and signed by both parties and receive copies, also get a new and used camper inspected by a third party somebody not associated with camping world for obvious reasons, and most importantly ask for all prior documentation upfront , reconditioning slip, predelivery inspection sheet as they clearly will not hand them over readily. Additionally, I would never EVER be a repeat customer of camping world. Check out the reviews for BBB, Facebook pages, trustpilot, Reddit, google, and yelp. Buyers BEWARE!! Safety is clearly not important to them as long as they get a sale. I cant post photos yet but I will be happy to post them when this is all over. The photos speak for themselves!
