We previously purchased our RV from Holiday World and later worked with Camping World regarding consigning our current RV. I spoke directly with Bryson Gray, the general manager, about pricing and expectations. While the overall outcome was satisfactory, the process itself was more difficult than it should have been. There was a significant disconnect between what Bryson and we had verbally agreed upon regarding the sales price and what the consignment representative, Zach, later presented in the paperwork. The number provided was approximately $5,000 lower than what had been discussed, which was frustrating and nearly caused us to walk away from the deal. Ultimately, Bryson had to step back in and clarify the agreement to resolve the situation. Zach Cortez is knowledgeable, but there is room for growth when it comes to communication, professionalism, and maintaining continuity between management and clients. When customers are given a price by a general manager, that agreement should be honored without requiring additional escalation or strong self-advocacy from the customer. That said, we were ultimately satisfied with the outcome. Camping World sold our RV within the one-month consignment contract, and we were able to get close to our desired resale price. We appreciate Bryson taking the time to meet with us in person and rectify the discrepancy—his involvement made the difference and demonstrated strong leadership. For future customers, I would strongly recommend getting all pricing agreements in writing upfront. Would we return to Camping World? Possibly—but only with clear documentation and direct involvement from management. One additional note: Marcus: responsiveness matters. Engaging with both positive and constructive reviews shows accountability and commitment to improvement. Addressing concerns publicly helps build trust with current and future customers. Overall, the result was positive, but the experience highlighted areas where better communication and consistency would significantly improve customer confidence.

Paid $75,000 for an RV 2 years ago. I am experiencing -$30,000 of equity. The whole RV is falling apart. Paid $5,500 for a Deluxe Service Plan that refuses to cover anything that breaks. The Lawyers exclude everything that actually breaks. Camping World is a scam. Do not buy from them. CAVEAT EMPTOR!

Camping World Katy, TX genuine feedback Bottom of the 9th, bases loaded, two outs… Took the time on a Saturday to drive over an hour one way to look at a used Coachmen toy hauler in person. It fit all the needs of what the wife and I wanted. We told Mariah and Clay we wanted it. Monday everything seems ok. Called Tuesday, sales team was off and year end inventory was being conducted, no word. Wednesday morning salesperson reached out and said that the Coachmen had been sold! Here's the pitch, fast ball inside, swing and a miss... Strike One! Working with Mariah and Clay again, we expressed interest in a used Ozark toy hauler. Wednesday afternoon, sales team stated that unit had too been sold. (Billy, show em’ the curve). Here’s the pitch, oh my knuckle curve, swing and a miss... Strike Two! Ok, what is the deal… Time Out! Between Wednesday afternoon, all day Thursday, and into Friday evening, the roller coaster ride continued until Saturday afternoon. Monumental efforts from Team Camping World Katy culminated into what can only be described as the Shot heard ‘round the world! Here’s the pitch, four-seam fastball low and outside... Crack, walk off home run! Team Camping World Katy won the Pennant! Shout out to Mariah, Clay, Amanda, Paul, and David for making a huge comeback. Slow going and a bit frustrating at first, but definitely made it up on the back side! After decades of tent and truck bed camping, we are now in our first camper!

DO NOT buy any of their over priced items in their showroom. You can get all that stuff cheaper on Amazon. They told me when I was there “They’re going to nickel and dime me as much as they could”. It’s business full of sales people. They care about the sale not the people. Make sure your vehicle is %100 equipped to pull the RV you want to buy before you purchase it. You can’t cancel the purchase. So they try and hook your RV up to your vehicle but if they find something that isn’t safe they try and guilt trip you into getting the services there so you’re safe on the road. They don’t check before the sale because they might lose the sale if you figure out that’s it’s not equipped properly before you purchase it Also, don’t get any work done there. They jack up the price. I got a quote from camping world to do an $1800 sway hitch install. Called a company down the road from them who did it for $850. They charge you $1800 to do a walk through to show you how your RV works after you buy it. They’ll show it to you for free before you buy it, but then charge $1800 to sell it as is. They also dropped the price of that to $800 once I pointed out how ridiculous that was. Buy an RV through a private sale and you’ll get a better deal.

put my Camper there on a consignment. They sold my camper in the middle of November and here It is end almost of December and I’m having to chase them to receive my check. On top of that, they did not even tell me that they sold my camper. I found out because I called because I was actually gonna go pick it up because it took them six months to sell it. And then I came to find out that they sold it in November. However if you want to chase your money this the place to go.
