After three different try's in trying out a 2025 Kia Soul to start. my wife found the one she loved. Everything went well until we tried to get our tag and plates back. The plates we had on our other car were handicap plates and told them that the plates have to be handicap plates. since the new law has changes due to no longer have Paer Plates in the state of Texas. The orginal plates need to be install o the New Kia Soul. The Manager, Alfonso Fonzy Pelayo, told use he would contact after waiting over 25 months for our tag and plates. I have been on hold for over 55 minutes in trying to retrieve the plate and the new tags and still am waiting we no answers. Clay Cooley needs to really get better support because if it was me i would have returned this car.

Buyer beware - shady business practices I purchased a Bronco 3 weeks ago at Clay Cooley Ford. This is just a warning in case all of the Clay Cooley dealerships have the same practices. I went in asking for the advertised price. I was told the only way to get the advertised price with to purchase their Family Guarantee which was simple a claw back of the discount shown in their advertisement. Shady business tactic at best. Next, the finance team messed up my finance paperwork for my trade in and they are holding on to nearly $5,000 of my money. It's been 3 weeks and counting. This is the absolute worst purchasing experience that I have had.

Went through the trouble of finding childcare and driving 40mins to see two vehicles listed on their website and cars.com. We had called ahead the day before to confirm they were still available and schedule the test drive. They confirmed availability and even followed up to confirm the appointment the next morning. When we arrived we were told neither vehicle was available. They then tried to upsell us on a new vehicle, said they would give us a deal, and tried to rope us into financing $13k when we had said we were paying cash. Absolutely horrendous experience and waste of time.

Took my car for warranty repairs. My car made a loud noise when I picked it up from repairs (which it had never before) and they said if it happened again to call them, so I did. Asked about a loaner car and was told it would be a while and they would follow up when I could bring it back and get a loaner. 6 weeks later no call, so I followed up and the service advisor wouldn’t take my call and relayed they would check on a loaner. Two weeks later I call back, still the same response even when I said it sounds like you are blowing me off so if I need to take it to another dealership, just let me know. No prob. Put on hold 5+ minutes for the advisor again, and nothing. Apparently they only serve customers out of warranty. My car is still having the same issue “they fixed”. If you need warranty work on your Kia, I’d go elsewhere.

I had been a loyal customer of Clay Cooley Kia for 5 years. Even after I moved to Fort Worth, I continued driving to Clay Cooley because they did such a great job. However, this last experience was so horrible that I will not be returning. My A/C went out and a part was needed to be ordered for my car which was not an issue. I brought the car back 2 days later as instructed. The part that came was deemed "faulty". They needed to order another one which would over nighted. I was told that it would only take them 3-4 hours to fix my car the next morning since they knew the issue. I brought my car in the next day to have it fixed and I asked if I could receive progress updates like they usually send me (The normal technician Christian who works with my car was not in that day). Just wanted to make sure I would have enough time to pick up my kids from daycare. I was told I would receive progress updates like usual. As the day went on, I did not receive any updates. I called the Service Center 3 different times asking for an updates and each time, I was told someone would call me back shortly with update. Never got a call back. So I asked to speak with the manager to explain the situation and honestly just get an update on my car to see if I needed to arrange a different pickup for daycare. The manager was pretty rude on the phone which was disappointing because I have never had any experience like this at Clay Cooley. Once my car was finally ready, I went to pick it up. They explained that to fix my A/C, they needed to remove my entire dashboard. A clip for a piece of paneling broke when they were putting it all back together and they did not have another clip in stock but I could bring it back the next day and they would have a new clip. In addition, as I was driving out the lot, I noticed the leather steering wheel was severely scratched up. I am assuming it happened when they had to remove the entire dashboard to access the A/C. When I brought my car back for the clip, I showed my steering wheel to the technician. He said he would get with his manager to see what could be done for it. They did not have the clip in stock and had called several other locations to try and find it but had no luck. Frustrated at this, I drove straight to a Kia dealership near my home in Ft Worth. They had the clip and fixed my panel immediately. Clay Cooley reached out to me 2 days later to inform me the clip was finally in. I let them know I was able to get it fixed but I wanted to know if they figured out what to do to fix my steering wheel. He asked for picture of it and said they would get back to me. Several days went by and I had not heard anything so I reached out and was told they were still trying to figure out "how to handle this case." That was a week ago and I still have not heard anything. This whole experience was disappointing because they had always been so great and this time, I just felt like they could not care less.
