Just copped my 2nd car with Daniel over at Clay Cooley Irving and LET ME TELL YOU..! I don’t make anything easy 😂
I actually pulled up in October 25’ and technically wasted his time because I said “no deal” and walked away..but only because he was honest and told me it wasn’t the best deal for me (and he was right). Fast forward to now, I came back, got an even BETTER deal, and drove off in a fully loaded Brand NEW Bronco Sport Outerbanks in my favorite color 🙏🏽🥰👏🏽
On top of that, my situation was messy and STRESSFUL I was absolutely one of his toughest customers PER USUAL! BUT he still made it happen. Gave me tips, kept it real, and guess what?? NO CO-SIGNER AGAIN 🙌🏽🙌🏽. PRAISE JESUS 👏🏽

I booked a service at 2 o’clock on December 31 for 5:30. I called in and spoke with a representative. I just got this car so I’m new to Chevy. I booked that appointment for then because that’s when I saw the alert on my car that I needed an oil change and that’s when they allowed me to book it. At 4:45 I got a call from this location saying they weren’t going to be able to service me which is crazy because you shouldn’t have allowed me to book it. I had a long trip the next day so I couldn’t wait until Friday the day they wanted to push me back to. After going back and forth they said if I could arrive by 5 they would service me. I get there and I mentioned some problems I had been experiencing like the car not reading the gas being low as a result of that I had ran out of gas off the highway! They said monitor it and if it happens again to come back and let them know… I also mentioned other issues and they told me the same wait on it. I asked them if they could wash my car their response was we won’t have time which is quite odd especially if I’m already there you don’t leave until the last car leaves so why not provide that service? However I guess they decided they would do something kind of washing which I would have preferred they didn’t because they didn’t do anything other than spray the car with water it was still very dirty after leaving. This was my first experience and it was giving they don’t care about their customers and they rush their jobs.

Remember when we were younger and people used to say “Clay Cooley sells lemons”? I ignored that and thought, How can I go wrong with a new car?
Just FYI—I wouldn’t send my worst enemy here.
I have a 730 credit score, yet the deal they offered me looked like something meant for someone with a poor credit history. I was honestly flabbergasted. It felt very clear that Clay Cooley pushes hard for their in-house financing only.
Ed Edward brought me back an 84-month quote with a monthly payment of $700+. Do the math—that’s nearly $30,000 extra over the life of the loan. What makes this worse is that I walked in with my own financing and only wanted to see if they could beat my rate.
Extremely disappointing experience. If you value transparency and fair financing, please avoid this place at all costs.... just fyi I got what I wanted elsewhere at $548 per month..

I would also give this place negative stars if it was possible. DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE FOR SERVICE! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! they say they are honest people but they lied straight to me. I had a flatbed dropped off for service and they told me it needed an injection pump, quoted at $3600. I am out of state and had no option but to have them replace it. Once they told me it was finished, I drove down from Wisconsin to pick it up all to find out they REPLACED A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PART! They told me the injection pump was sucking in air which is why it needed to be replaced... instead, they go ahead and replace an aftermarket lift pump to "help" the injection pump. After arguing with their staff and trying to get ahold of their management I took the truck home and come to find out the truck went into limp mode and didn't fix any issues 10 MILES INTO THE DRIVE!. MARIO, the service manager said they would take care of everything and fix THEIR mess up. Now every time I call he doesn't pickup. Their manager seems to ALWAYS be on the phone with another customer or out of the office? How convenient! Have never had an experience like this where they flat out lie! AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I am extremely disappointed with my experience purchasing a vehicle from Clay Cooley.
On August 9th, I purchased a brand-new 2025 Chevy Trax. Within 7 days, the check engine light came on. I returned the vehicle under Clay Cooley’s return policy. While the finance department did take the car back, my credit was run again, and I was placed into a second 2025 Chevy Trax, which had only 9 miles on it.
Unfortunately, within 15 days, the check engine light came on again on the second vehicle.
Since then, dealing with the service department has been incredibly frustrating. I was told they would need to keep my vehicle for up to three days, yet they do not offer loaner vehicles, which is extremely unreasonable—especially for a brand-new car. No one in Texas can realistically be without their only vehicle for days.
I was rescheduled to September 9, then told parts had to be ordered. When I brought the car in, I was later informed the part was still not available, and no assistance could be provided. From that point on, communication completely broke down.
My case was escalated to an internal representative named Gauge, who never returned my calls. I left 18 voicemails, as well as messages on a supervisor’s line—none of which were returned. I received no follow-up, no solutions, and no sense of urgency.
Now, fast forward to December 30, nearly four months later, and the check engine light is still on. As a last effort, I called again today 12/29. Gauge finally answered, placed me on hold for 27 minutes, and scheduled me to bring the car in again this week. At this point, I have little confidence the issue will be resolved.
The lack of care, accountability, communication, and basic customer respect—especially considering this is the second brand-new car I’ve purchased from Clay Cooley with a check engine light —has made this a very disappointing and stressful experience. I expected far better treatment and reliability when purchasing a new vehicle. seeing as though the sales process was smooth, but now I see why because EVERYTHING ELSE ABOUT THIS PLACE IS COMPLICATED
