My experience at this dealership has been horrible. I wished they would've allowed me to talk to GM to get issues resolved. I hate to give bad reviews and I gave them a chance before I left this review.Although I had many issues with my purchase and with the vehicle. I only had 2 simple requests that would've been easier and cheaper than their solution. So now for full review.
I came in to the dealership after receiving an internet quote that I requested. I came in to buy the car but the sales manager, Enrique suggested I lease. Since, I never leased before I ended up not making a decision that day but committed to coming back the next day. The sales mgr introduced me to the other mgr, Roy as he was off the next day. That next morning I was bombarded with calls, texts, etc from sales guy, manager, and some other lady so it seemed that they wanted my business. I asked for a quote for hatchback civic instead of sedan. I knew hatchback was higher so I was fine with the upgrade, but they tried to offer me $900 lesser for my trade than agreed upon the day before. Roy & I went back & forth for hours thru text and email before they agreed to honor the correct trade amount, but by that time I started getting frustrated and didn't come in that day, but came in the next day to buy.
I didn't test drive the car I was buying because I test drove the sedan my 1st visit, but I wished that I had. The entire car was filthy from dirt and grass from lawn equipment. The salesman Prannath told me that in order to prep the car that I had to sign a doc stating that the car was cosmetically free of damage but I told him that was hard to do because it was so filthy, but if I sign this doc and the car was damaged that I wouldn't take delivery. When I took delivery it had dried soap spread across the top of the car, and when I pointed it out Prannath said it was no big deal just wind. It was hard to see the rest of car because it was dark under canopy, and since salesman seemed to be not interested in making sure I was happy about cleaning the dried soap I just got in car and left.
When I got home I noticed chipped paint on the door sill, shoe print on driver door speaker, liquid spots on dash and cupholder, and the plastic and rubber around all windows inside & out were either faded or discolored from the sun. I also after seeing the windows free of dirt wasn't satisfied with the tint.
I didn't address my displeasure that day as I had to handle some pressing business out of town but when I came back in town about 4 days later I tried to get them to address my concerns but had problems doing so. I asked the salesman for the GM's info and the email he gave me bounced back. I asked for the Sales Manager info and called and phone was out of service. I texted and emailed, Roy the other mgr and got no response from him. I called the main number and got voicemail. It went on about 2 weeks and after texting the salesman that I was going public about the dealership that I finally got contacted by Roy. He told me that they were having problems with communication since Doggett bought the dealership. We talked on phone and I emailed him my concerns and issues with car. I told him I had 2 simple requests to resolve things and he told me that he would do them. He offered to repaint the doorsill, but I offered what I thought was a cheaper and easier solution which was to cover the chipped paint with door sill protector, and that's what he agreed to do. When I asked him about the tint he said he would fix that after he fixed the door sill. When I went to drop off car the salesman accused me of damaging car. It took 4 days for them apply door sill guard, which is peel & stick. When it came time to fix tint went back on their word and refused to do it. Also, when I bought car they tried to push about $9-$10K worth of different warranties. I asked about Honda Care Warranty and finance guy lied & tried to sell me a $4700 extended warranty from a company called EG Assurance & said it was the Honda Care Warranty from factory when it wasn't.

I went as a first-time buyer, and the process was super easy from start to finish. Kyle Malone was amazing—he was very patient and helpful with both me and my aunt. The team at Doggett Honda Med Center was also fantastic. We weren’t there long—only about two hours. Overall, it was a great first experience, and I absolutely love my CR-V!

I bought a car over two months ago and still haven’t received a single document - not even the registration. When I finally called, I was told it was my responsibility to chase down Honda Financial to get them. If I hadn’t called, I’d still be sitting here with nothing, completely in the dark. This level of negligence is absolutely unacceptable.

I had an outstanding experience at Doggett Honda! I came to see a pre-owned vehicle I found online, and I was impressed that it was exactly as advertised. The car was in excellent shape—the tires were brand new, the engine and transmission were working really well, and everything felt solid even though it was an older vehicle. It was clear that it had been well maintained.
Kyle was the sales consultant who helped me, and he truly went above and beyond. He walked me through the Carfax report in detail, explained everything clearly, and stayed dedicated right up until the end of his shift. I never once felt pressured, even though I mentioned that I was also considering another option elsewhere. Instead, Kyle remained professional, patient, and focused on making sure I had all the information I needed to make the best decision for myself.
The overall atmosphere at Doggett Honda was just as impressive. The store manager was warm, friendly, and professional. It didn’t feel like the typical dealership experience where you’re just another sale—it felt like they genuinely cared about helping me.
This was honestly a great experience. Even if I don’t end up buying a car right away, I’ll definitely recommend Doggett Honda to friends and family. When I’m ready to purchase, they’ll be my first stop.
