Outstanding Maintenance Service from Nico at Sewell Cadillac Grapevine
I recently brought my vehicle in for maintenance at Sewell Cadillac in Grapevine, and I have to give a huge shoutout to Nico for providing absolutely exceptional service. From the moment I arrived, Nico was professional, attentive, and made sure every detail of my visit was handled with care.
He clearly explained what maintenance was needed, kept me updated throughout the process, and made sure my vehicle was ready on time. It’s rare to find someone who combines technical knowledge with such genuine customer care, but Nico does it effortlessly.
When I picked up my car, it was not only serviced perfectly but also spotless — it truly felt like I was driving a brand-new vehicle again. Nico went above and beyond to make the experience smooth and stress-free, which is exactly why I continue to trust Sewell Cadillac with my car.
If you need maintenance or repairs, ask for Nico — his professionalism and dedication to top-notch service make all the difference.
I took my car to the service department which diagnosis was a simple fuse replacement. The charges was $295 just to look at the car and do for an evaluation. OK I agree to that, so let’s move on. What would’ve taken Less than a few hours ended up being a three week saga due to the fact that their workmen scratch my car with his tools, which they notify me had happened and it took me three weeks to get my car. OK, I got a loaner car so I’m fine with that. Let’s move on.. So when I get the car back and I paid my $295 For a fuse replacement and the fact that I had to wait three weeks to get my car back, they actually handed me the car that was absolutely filthy on the outside. What was stalling to me was all the cars that came before me cars had been washed looking pristine clean. When it came to my car, not a drop of water was put on it by this dealership. Even after I gave them a five hour notice prior to my arrival that I will be in to pick up the car as agreed. So yes, my experience with them was bad. if I could give less than one I would.
So I called the service representative, told him to inform his service manager of my disappointment. And as of this day, November 1, 2025 the manager has never called to apologize. I think that is pissing me off more than anything.

After having a couple of less-than-satisfactory experiences with the service department in the past, I decided to give Sewell Grapevine one last shot when a check engine light came on in My ATS. NEVER AGAIN!!! Long story short, Noah tried to sell me a $8,100 oil pump assembly repair that I ended up not needing at all. When I texted Noah that I would need to evaluate options given the age of the car and the excessive cost of the repair, he replied with "I may be able to get it down to $6,900, no guarantees". While I appreciate the lower price, the fact that he almost instantly responded with a price that was $1,200 lower just tells me that I was being ripped off in the first place - since when is a vehicle repair at a dealership negotiable? If they were being honest in the first place, the price would have been fixed and quoted based on the actual parts and actual estimated labor hours, which was never laid out to me.
When I later let Noah know that I would like to get an estimate from another shop he stopped responding completely. Just to see if he was getting my messages, I half-jokingly inquired about looking at pre-owned inventory at Sewell, just to see if I would get a response. Sure did! I asked Noah TWO times if the car was driveable to another local shop, and guess what, no response to that question since it didn't behoove him or Sewell. To add to all of this, when I went to pickup the car Noah walked past me and made eye contact no less than three times and did not say a single word to me - absolutely pathetic lack of acknowledgment and clearly just wanted me out the door when I wouldn't agree to a $8,100 (make that a *magically* $6,900) repair.
SO - since Noah didn't want to answer my questions about the driveability of the vehicle - I decided to play it safe and had it towed to the other shop. Upon arrival at said shop, they discovered Sewell had already reset the check engine light. At initial inspection they found ABSOLUTELY NOTHING wrong with the oil pump and did a full diagnosis on the oil system before then driving the vehicle at both high and low speeds nearly twenty miles with zero engine light, and zero problems whatsoever. They determined that it was likely a small piece of debris that got into the oil pump and temporarily tripped the light before quickly passing through on it's own. I have also since driven the vehicle on my regular 20+ mile freeway commute with no issues.
So basically, Sewell wanted me to spend $8,100 on a repair that was unwarranted, unnecessary, and clearly a money-grab, and then refused to treat me with any courtesy or basic respect when I wanted to go elsewhere. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Sewell of Cadillac was very friendly to me today. Was looking to charge my car and a customer was using the charger. They scanned the car real quick to let me know. They had some slower chargers and they were being used. Was in a jamb because work called me in early today. They tried their best with a smile and I do appreciate the help even though was not able to get on the charger.
Would recommend Sewell if you are looking for a new or used Cadillac. The new EV Escalade sure is a pretty vehicle for how big it is. Next time through snap a picture of two.
Enjoy your day, God speed on your journey's
