I recently traveled to College Station and decided to visit the A&M Campus. I parked at the LAZ parking structure and immediately felt safe as the staff was vigilant and walking around the property. The staff were friendly and provided me with recommendations on local restaurants to eat. I saw some trash in a corner and notified the manager Fernando, whom personally disposed of the trash and continued to look around for more. He apologized for any inconvenience and ensured that he will make sure the property is maintained clean. Overall, I had a good experience while visiting College Station.

Their “street” parking in front of the restaurants is not clearly marked as requiring you to pay. There are no posted signs like you’d typically see or painted curbs showing pay to park. We went into Cava for 20 mins to eat fast food and came out. Only then did we notice the placard on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant next door indicating it was pay to park, but not clear if that was all spots or just certain spots. So, we left. Later that day at a parking garage at Texas A&M we got a ticket on our windshield with a $25 parking fine. We will not be back to these restaurants or shopping establishment until they clearly indicate which spots near the fast food restaurants facing university require you to pay to park. A $25 parking ticket for a 20 min food stop is ridiculous.

I am never, ever giving any business in Century Square another dime of my money due to their towing policy in their "public" garage that is supposedly for paying customers. Their blue signs, the ones that people actually read, say that the garage is for paying customers and all others will be towed. Apparently you're no longer a paying customer if you leave the Century Square area for any reason. So for example, if I decide to enjoy the weather and park in the garage and then walk my daughter to daycare and return to give Century Square a bunch of my business by spending the rest of my day at the coffee shop, they have grounds to tow your car that you can't get back for $300. On top of their misleading signage and the fact that those blue signs are untrue (paying customers can still be towed), the parking garage feels like it's falling apart and isn't built for the amount of cars that go in and out of it every day.
