I am older and am accustomed to honesty and integrity in a company. I found Rush to have these qualities. It is very refreshing to now know and trust this company to bring my vehicle to. I have a high performance vehicle and don't trust a lot of people to work on it. Thanks again for your honest work.

I hate leaving bad reviews, but after everything I went through with Rush Auto, I feel it’s important to warn others. I brought my truck in because it wouldn’t run. I was told it would cost almost $10,000 to get it running. We spent close to $5,000, and my truck still did not run. I had to pay to have it towed to the shop and then pay again to have it towed back home — only to receive it in non-running condition, despite being told it had been running. I was told multiple repairs were completed, but much of the work they claimed to have done did not appear to be done at all. I only saw a few new front-end parts and some bushings. Here are some of the major issues I experienced: I was told my starter was bad and rusted. I removed it and had it tested at three different places — all confirmed it was good. I was sold a bad battery. It was replaced with another battery that also tested bad. The shop refused to test it, so I took it elsewhere immediately. I even provided video proof of the test, including removing the brand-new terminal protectors. After a long argument, they finally refunded me. I was told my fuel pump was bad. When I dropped the tank myself, it was clear the fuel pump had never been checked. The fuel tank was completely rusted out, and I had to replace the entire tank — something I was never informed about because they never looked at it. They lost my battery tie-down, even though I personally removed it and placed it inside the truck before it was towed. They installed my spare tire but over-tightened the lug nuts so badly that I broke a socket trying to remove them. I had to use an impact on high and ended up stripping three lug nuts just to get the wheel off. They were supposed to inspect and rewire my headlights, which was never done. Instead, my driver-side headlight was left hanging down between the radiator and body, meaning I now have to remove the entire front end just to retrieve it. I called multiple times and was told the owner himself worked on my vehicle, including hearing that directly from him. This shop came highly recommended to me, which makes this experience even more disappointing. My truck may not be worth that much on paper, but it’s worth something to me. This whole situation caused unnecessary stress, lost money, towing costs, and wasted time. I struggled with writing this review, but the way I was treated is not right — and it makes me wonder how many others have gone through the same thing. I would not recommend Rush Auto to anyone. I have pictures and video. Trying to post

My daughter is in a front-end collision with a large dear and had significant damage done to her front suspension and steering. The team at Rush Automotive in Bastrop did an amazing job determining what the most cost-effective approach to repairing her car. I was constantly updated on status of parts and repairs and was very pleased with the repair results. I highly recommend the team at Rush Automotive.
