Other than having to go twice because the OEM glass wasn't offered on the website, everything went smooth. The aftermarket windshield wasn't compatible with my cars sensors. 100% online issue. Scheduling was quick, and so was the work. Skip the website and just go in or call.

Safelite was able to schedule an appointment to replace the windshield in our 2022 Tesla model Y within 2 days of us reaching out and have the windshield replaced within 3 hours of us dropping the car off.

If you schedule them, make sure to be near your phone cause if you don’t answer the day of installation, doesn’t matter if you’ve confirmed or follow any of their directions, if they don’t talk to you, they will leave you hanging and won’t even try to knock on your door or ring your bell to let you know that they are there. At least that was my experience. I followed their directions to the T, confirmed my schedule. Be there text spot and email, but yet they felt the need that if they didn’t hear my voice to confirm what I’ve already paid for by the way, Just leave and cancel your appointment Where you will have to reschedule it. SMH… Never again!
Make sure you update your policy Safelite and have your technicians. Try to reach their customers before assuming they are not available just cause they don’t answer a phone call email and text works just as well. Or at least have them get off the car and knock on the door or ring the doorbell before they decide to cancel a job

Not a dependable place. I dropped my car off at my scheduled appointment and was told it would be ready at noon. Perfect! I got a ride back home. I call at 12:30pm for an update. They tell me they called me earlier (they did not) to inform me the windshield they received from their warehouse was broken. Okay. I was told there were two others in stock, but that they were sold to other customers already today, so I told I'll "have to wait until Wednesday". That stinks. I now have to find four total rides for this repair instead of two (waste of time and money that won't be reimbursed). I couldn't find a ride to go pick it up today. They called me right before they closed verifying if I'd be picking it up, I said "no, I'll just leave it there for the next two days so I don't need to keep going back and forth" - they then proceed to say, "actually your new appointment isn't until next Wednesday" (9 days from now). Excuse me? My first impressions of this business are: Unorganized and a disregard for their customers. I haven't even had the actual work done yet, which I'm now nervous about. No offers to remedy this bad start either. 1/10 experience.

A little disappointed
#1... I was a little disappointed in that I was led to believe that I had an appointment scheduled but then the Waco store that was supposed to do the work canceled. Hours later I left a comment with the corporate office, and within 10 minutes an employee reached out to let me that he would do the job. Why did the Waco store not take care of this?
#2... I did not pay the extra $40 for "glass treatment", so what I got was a windshield coated in grease inside and out. I am STILL trying to clean that crap off.
5 stars for the windshield minus 2 stars for these issues equals 3 stars
