The service was completed on time, with some extra uncharged work. A few days later I did some of my own work on the car and found an uninstalled screw. We tried to find the mating hole by chat with the shop, but couldn't. Ian drove his technician up to my home in Round Rock to return the screw to its rightful place, right in my driveway! 5 star service! Thanks! We will be back!

The team at Grand wasn't sure about root cause but suggested I start with spark plugs, and maybe a water-pump and fuel injector replacement service. So despite being entirely unrelated to my issue, a few thousand dollars worth of service I didn't need couldn't hurt, right? Another shop in Austin accurately diagnosed the issue, the same day, for $60.
