  I was attending a short event at The Factory in Franklin on the Saturday night of Pilgrimage Festival. I was planning to walk to avoid paying Pilgrimage parking prices, but I saw that Metropolis was handling special event parking at The Factory because of Pilgrimage, and they were offering the first three hours of parking for free! I’m a fan of Metropolis because they’re always so easy so I parked. It was a Scan-to-Park setup instead of their regular automated process; so I scanned and the system brought up my vehicle immediately. From there, according to Metropolis, I should’ve been given options to select the total parking time. Whether or not it was due to my error, I was not given that option. I was only there for about 90 minutes. The next morning I saw a $60 charge from Metropolis come through, which was the maximum rate. I reached out to Metropolis to explain the situation, and they are refusing to refund any portion of what should’ve been free. This is a textbook customer experience opportunity for Metropolis. Even if what happened were completely my fault, they could offer a refund (or even a partial refund) and thank me for continuing to choose Metropolis for all my parking needs. Instead, they are charging me for a service I did not receive. According to Metropolis, “Once your parking session has started, we're unfortunately unable to offer refunds.” It’s always so disappointing when a company has great processes and technology, but fails on the people front.

  Ten dollar parking? Absolutely not. It's extremely cramped and difficult to maneuver. The art is nice, but that's it.
