  I haven’t purchased a camper yet but I’ve been putting in some serious time researching different styles, pricing, and companies in which I should consider purchasing from. After working with Robert Knowles in the Kodak, TN location, I believe most of what I need to know has been answered. He took the time to thoroughly explain different types of campers, pricing considerations, and even routine maintenance to factor in for expenses that I wouldn’t have even thought of since this would be my first camper. I truly appreciated his patience, his expertise, and most of all, his professionalism.

  We decided to take a drive to Camping World in Kodak , Tennessee to view some campers knowing they had a large inventory. We requested a salesman who's name was Robert Knowles and then our adventure began. He asked what are we looking for in a trailer and what is our towing capacity with our vehicle. That eliminated a lot of wasted time looking . He was very knowledgeable on the types of trailers and their quality . He was patient and not pushy , and told us about all the options in purchasing our trailer and what we would possibly need as far as assessors for it . There was no pressure in buying it we decided to make the purchase and he assisted at every turn and answered every question. So if you're looking for a great salesman we would strongly recommend him .

  Please never buy anything from these liars. I bought a 2025 Eddie Baurer small camper but it still cost $20,000 and it was never washed and I took it back to get the cerakote out on it and it still came out nasty. That’s when I noticed that the vinyl decals were coming loose so I left the camper and the man in service said that he would have someone to call me so 3 or 4 days later I get this call from Sharon and she rudely asks me what I want done and I said that I want the camper fixed right. So she got approval from heartland and said that the vinyl would be in on the 28th or 29th of November. So I call and leave messages with no response at all because once they get your money then they don’t want anything to do with you. I wish that there was a way to just take it back to them and make them pay the loan. So don’t buy anything from these liars! This is the Kodak,Tn location.

  In a time when customer service is at a all time low, you would think large companies and corporations would realize with so much competition out there they would want to make sure customer satisfaction was a top priority. But evidently the salespeople, or at least one male salesman at the Kodak location either wasn’t trained properly or just didn’t care. My wife and had never been treated with such disrespect and poor attitude from someone. We always try to buy locally if possible to support local businesses. We wanted to buy two good quality piston rocker chairs for Christmas. We found the brand we wanted online for $90 apiece with free shipping. But we then checked Camping World’s Website and seen they carried the exact chairs at the Kodak location, also for $90. After arriving at he store and looking for the items, we were approached by a male that wanted to know what we wanted to see. After explaining our need, he showed the chairs placed side by side together in a display sitting in the floor. We wanted to open one up and check out the way they sat and rocked. I ask if there were any on display and he snapped no, just placed here so they will be safe. I pulled a chair out of the display and attempted to open it up, but was unable because of a simple piece of cardboard wrapped around the bottom part of the legs. The salesman snapped I keep them like this so they can not be opened. I again explained we weren’t going to buy expensive chairs until we tried them out to make sure they were comfortable. I asked could you not remove the piece of cardboard for just a moment and then replace it as it was only taped together with cellophane tape. Again, this man snapped no, he had rather not in a very hateful voice. At this point I had had enough of his bad and very unprofessional attitude and told my wife let’s go. I did tell the person he was being a jerk and extremely disrespectful and unhelpful. Camping World lost the sale of two chairs simply because of this salesman hateful attitude. I’m sure that $180 was a drop in the bucket to them, but with salespeople like him, the loss sales would soon add up. So like I said at the beginning, too many competitors out there to be treated with disrespect and non caring salespeople.

  I bought a 2023 Bighorn Traveler in January 24 2025 when I receive the camper it was supposed to be ready and what I mean by ready is winterized I parked the camper until end of March been using it since March 28 2025 they left the gray tanks full of water mainly because the gauges don't work properly the kitchen faucet was busted had to replace it stuff on the toilet was busted had to rebuild the whole toilet the air conditioners won't stay cold one of the air conditioners is leaking condensation inside the heat won't heat service department is no good Management's is no good basically anyone at the Kodak facility is no good I've had zero help I have not got anything fixed or anything looked at they won't respond to me they won't call me and all this was noted before purchased and all the calls that I've called have been noted I have sent pictures I have proof of everything I will never purchase anything from Camping World again they just rush you through everything everything that I noted they fixed in 20 minutes the couch had been pulled from the wall everything was leaking water after using it one month the whole washer flooded the bedroom something was wrong with it it filled all the way up and ran into the floor again everything has been documented and pictures and proof of everything literally the worst camper I have ever purchased
