- SHSteve HayesAug 9, 20221.0Bad Business. Steve T Hayes Monday, August 1st, I reserved a Penske truck in Athens and they said the lift gate trucks were hard to get. That was the reason I reserved one before August 4th. I am disabled and cannot walk up a ramp which was explained to them in my reservation phone call. If there was any problem, they said they would call me if there were any changes. So I did not hear from them until Thursday morning, August 4 at 9:07 am to let me know that there wasn't any truck the Penske Athens for me to pick up. I called them at 9:14 am and my only option they gave me was to drive to Hixon which is 50+ miles from Etowah and they were only going to give me a break on mileage, if they had a truck which would not be worth it for me as I was unable to move my things I needed to move on time. I just hope a higher up in your business sees this so it doesn't happen to anyone else. That is just bad business.

This particular Penske in Athens TN was absolutely wonderful in their service and kindness. Kudos to Sue for giving us not only the good price but took great care of us with exceptional kindness!
