We recently purchased a used vehicle from Granite Automotive. We found exactly what we were looking for, but it meant driving five hours each way from out of state — totally worth the trip!
Due to a mistake on my part, the process took a few extra hours, but Brent Bednarz remained incredibly patient and understanding the entire time. He never rushed us, answered every single question thoroughly, kept things positive, and treated us with genuine respect and professionalism.
When we’re in the market for a vehicle again, we won’t hesitate to do business with them.
So if you’re in the market and see one that fits — go for it and specifically ask for Brent Bednarz! We’re so grateful for his exceptional customer service and highly recommend this team for going above and beyond. Thank you again — we absolutely love the truck

If there was an option for negative stars, Granite Motors would deserve it.
We brought our daughter’s 2016 Buick (with give or take 75,000 miles) into their service department because the check engine light kept coming on. The service writer told us the turbo was the problem and that it was covered by warranty. We were shocked, so we asked THREE different times if he was certain. Each time, he confidently reassured us it was covered. Based on that guarantee, we agreed to move forward and even requested pricing on additional maintenance.
By Monday, after hearing nothing, we called—only to be told: “You’re going to be upset with me.” Suddenly, the story changed. Now the turbo wasn’t covered. The excuse? He “fat-fingered the VIN number.” This wasn’t a one-time slip-up; it was repeated misinformation given three separate times. That’s not just sloppy—it’s outright negligence.
Even worse, the service manager and dealership manager admitted fault, yet the best they were willing to offer was a measly $230 off labor. Then, instead of making things right, they started avoiding us altogether. At one point, their response was literally: “Well, you’re more than welcome to come and get your vehicle as we don’t have to do the work.”
That statement sums up the culture at Granite Motors: zero accountability, zero integrity, and zero respect for customers. They admitted fault and still refused to honor their word. That’s not customer service—it’s a bait-and-switch backed by arrogance.
We will never do business with Granite Motors again, and we strongly urge anyone considering them for sales or service to take your business elsewhere. There are plenty of dealerships who actually stand behind their word. Granite Motors is not one of them.
