I brought my truck in on Wednesday around 11:00 AM for four new tires. I called ahead and was told by the service manager that the job should take no longer than one hour. Instead, after nearly two hours, the service writer came out and told me that several lug nuts were stuck and one had been snapped or sheared off by their tire tech. I was then told an extraction tool had to be ordered, resulting in me not receiving my truck until approximately 5:30 PM. my wheels got damage on it because of these guys trying to get these lug nuts off. they told me they put a different brand lug nut on for the one they broke and they would give me the key for it. the key for my other lug nuts is different than the lug they put on so i now have a lug nut that i cannot take off because they didn’t give me the key for it and doesn’t match my current key. Day 1 - 6 hours When I picked up the truck and drove it on the freeway, I immediately noticed vibration at highway speeds. I returned the next day (Thursday) at about 10:30a.m and asked that all four wheels be road force balanced. During this visit, I was met with consistent attitude from staff, particularly due to the prior day’s issues. Service advisor Nate told me that the rear wheels had been road force balanced and were each about 1.5 ounces off. Based on that information, I requested that the front wheels also be road force balanced. Nate agreed. After my truck was at the shop for approximately 2.5 hours, I asked another employee (Tim) to confirm that all four wheels were road force balanced. At that point, I was told that none of the wheels had been road force balanced because they were “too large to fit on the roller.” This directly contradicted what Nate had previously told me. Either incorrect information was provided, or I was deliberately misled and lied too. After picking up the truck again, the vibration was significantly worse. I returned later that same Thursday, at about 12:35p.m at which point Tim stated they would road force balance all four tires (which is the same person who told me they wouldn’t fit on the roller) and performed an alignment, as I had now had to leave the vehicle multiple times due to repeated issues. When I picked the truck up just before closing, i was told by tim that it was test driven to confirm all the work that was done Thursday was good. I immediately noticed that while driving straight out of the parking lot, the steering wheel was pointing at 9 o’clock. I did not even leave the parking lot before noticing this. so again i was mislead and given wrong information or just simply lied too that it was test driven. Day 2 - 8 hours I returned again on Friday at about 11:00a.m and was told the steering wheel adjustment would take no longer than 30 minutes. An hour and a half later still nobody has touched my truck. i walked up and ask nate what the deal is and of course im met with attitude from him. finally get the manager or owner to come out and talk to me and after going back and forth i asked about 4 times for a refund so i can just take my truck and take it to someone else who will do the work the right way the first time. day 3 - 1.5 hours all in all about 15 hours at this place in the last 3 days and really nothing to show for it. reading other reviews the attitude, misleading information/lying is a common thing with this place. i’d trust discount over this place.

In a town full of hack tire shops, I trust Corys with all my stuff now. I’ve been burned or scammed too many times to count but I get treated like gold at Cory’s and they’re prices are pretty hard to beat. I have had various jobs done there and I’ve never had to go back and have them fix it (they’ve fixed plenty of mistakes from other shops though!)

Just picked up my daughter-in-law from having her car serviced here. I found out that when she came to redeem warranty work they immediately informed her that "that was no longer their policy" she explained to them what "warranty" means. Specifically "lifetime warranty." They maintained that they no longer honored the lifetime warranty since they no longer offered it. She explained that's not how that works, and perhaps they don't know what the word "lifetime" means. When they continue to push back, she said "let me have you tell my husband what you're telling me." Suddenly, at that point, they backed down and agreed to do the warranty work as they should have initially. Additionally, I have a close friend who has repeatedly visited here and been informed that there were things wrong with his car that absolutely were fine. In fact, some of the things they declared insufficient or even dangerous had only recently been replaced by another reputable shop. This place is completely scam oriented. I have no idea why they have so many stars. Run for your lives. Especially if you are women who want to be treated with respect.

I’m writing this so other families know to ask questions and get a second opinion before agreeing to anything expensive. Not everyone has extra money to spend on repairs they don’t truly need. My wife and I dropped our car off because it had a vibration at around 50 mph. I work night shift, so after dropping it off, we went home and I went to bed. The real issue turned out to be simple — the wheels were packed with mud and snow. The tech cleaned the rims, test-drove the car, and the vibration was completely gone. That part was honest and straightforward. The problem was everything that happened afterward. While I was asleep, they called my wife and overwhelmed her with a long list of “recommended” repairs totaling over $2,100 — more than the value of the vehicle. She was so alarmed by the pressure and dollar signs that she woke me up, which she never does unless something feels genuinely serious. When I picked up the car later, I finally saw the itemized breakdown of what they were pushing. They quoted $1,100 for inner and outer tie rods. I can buy all four tie rods myself for around $42, and even top-tier name-brand parts cost nowhere near that amount. Their inspection sheet marked the tie rods as “replacement required,” defined on their own form as parts that “no longer perform their intended purpose,” “do not meet design specifications,” or are “missing.” Yet the mechanic’s actual note says the vibration was resolved just by cleaning the rims — no steering issues, no instability, no red safety flags, and no warning not to drive the car. If the tie rods were truly at a “replacement required” level, they would not have released the vehicle without a serious safety conversation. That contradiction makes the recommendation look far more like a sales tactic than a legitimate mechanical finding. The diagnostic fee was fair. The actual fix was honest. But the aggressive, high-pressure upselling — especially directed at my wife while I was asleep — crossed a line. If you come here, be prepared for very high repair quotes and strong pressure to authorize expensive work. Always get a second opinion before agreeing to anything major. I know we won't be going here again.
