They charged my card TWICE THIS WEEK and I haven't been there since early October. I spoke with Deseree at the Irmo, SC location today and discovered they had my debit card number on file without my consent. They had TWO accounts for me. It's a SCAM! NO ONE EVER TOLD ME I WOULD BE BILLED MONTHLY. I never signed anything. Deserve said she canceled my accounts and requested a refund and it will take two weeks. I contacted my bank and filed disputes for three charges. There is an additional charge pending. I will never go there again. Completely deceptive. Train your employees to explain your SCAM. I never asked to have a "membership " to an overpriced car wash.
- DDDana DNov 5, 20251.0Most dishonest company ever. The clerk offered 'as many carwashes you want this month if you get this little sticker.' Little did we know that was effectively signing up for a 'membership' that recurs monthly to charge your card for car washes not received. There was no paperwork to sign, no clear explanation that this was a membership, and no indication that the payment would be recurring beyond the current month. Instead, we noticed tons of charges piling up (under 'Franks' name, despite a recent buyout), and had to dispute charges for a membership that was never intended and never had conditions signed for. As you'll see once you dig deeper, the membership releases them from all liability, class-actions, relegates you to dispute anything via arbitration IN A DIFFERENT STATE, etc. Totally deceptive practices and poorly trained staff.
