  My first visit to Jim’s was fantastic; my second was extremely disappointing. During my first visit, I had my car inspected. The process was quick and easy, and while my car passed inspection, I was advised that I would need new tires, brake replacement, and a transmission fluid replacement. I chose not to do the work that day but planned to return to have it completed. After the holidays, I scheduled a follow-up appointment. I chose to purchase tires elsewhere because the reviews for the brand recommended by Jim’s weren’t the best for my needs and I found my preferred brand I was significantly less expensive somewhere else. When I called to schedule, I explicitly asked to have all of the work identified in the inspection completed, except for the tires, and noted that I would still need an alignment. When I dropped off my car, I reiterated this request and was told everything would be taken care of. After leaving my car there all day and spending money on Uber rides to and from appointments, the only service that was performed was the alignment. When I asked why the brakes were not done, I was told they “looked fine.” This was confusing, given that just a few months earlier I had been told they needed to be replaced. There was also no mention at all of the transmission fluid replacement. While the staff apologized and suggested I come back another day, the end result is that I now have to make separate arrangements, lose another full day, and I’m left unsure what work actually needs to be done on my car. This experience was frustrating, inefficient, and a sharp contrast to the excellent service I received during my first visit.

  Happy to be spending a lot of time this next year at this shop 🤗 You can tell they enjoy what they do. Detailed in their quotes and pleasantly communicative. My Tahoe (Beep Beep) has never ran better and they havent even gotten to the big job on her yet. If you have a GMC, I highly recommend Jim's Automotive!

  I hate this kind of business practice. I asked if I could bring my own oil and was told yes, but then they still wanted to charge me as if they were supplying it. Why should I pay for oil I didn’t use? It feels like the store is trying to force customers to use their low-quality oil or overcharge them either way. Completely unreasonable and not customer-friendly.

  Had a great experience at jim’s automotive,took my 2011 Toyota Tacoma truck for inspection. No issues with the inspection met Mark and his associates would recommend and will be going back.
