I asked them to inspect the rims for leaks. Afterward, I received a quote for various repairs, and they claimed my brand-new tie rods “appeared” to be stripped. However, within two weeks and less then 20 miles driven, I took my vehicle to a reputable garage, and they found that the same tie rod that Snyder's deemed stripped was nearly all the way backed out of the steering arm. This could have easily caused a serious accident. The new garage explained that Snyder's might have been unintentionally unthreading the tie rod, claiming it was stripped. Additionally, my tire pressure light was on, and they replaced a seal on my valve stem. Not sure if my experience was due to an inexperience technician who may need more training or just terrible work practices
