  I am writing to share my experience regarding a recent purchase agreement with Alpha Powersports , primarily involving two side-by-sides. I believe this feedback is crucial for potential customers and for the company’s internal review. I worked with a salesperson named Hunter and agreed upon the purchase price, including shipping to Virginia. Initially, I was provided a delivery date of Wednesday, which was then changed to Friday. However, the side-by-sides were never delivered. Subsequently, Mr. Hunter ceased responding to my calls and text messages. When I was finally able to reach his manager, Sean, I was informed that the shipping cost would be increased by $2,100.00 because the original driver was unavailable due to illness. I expressed my willingness to wait for the original driver, and Mr. Sean agreed, stating the delivery would occur the following Wednesday. Unfortunately, it has been nearly a week since that conversation, and I have received zero communication or updates regarding my order. This entire experience, including the last-minute price change and the complete lack of follow-up, leads me to find this company's business practices highly dishonest. I request immediate clarification and resolution regarding the status of the two side-by-sides and the agreed-upon delivery. Sincerely, R.L SMITH

  I called Hunter Moran about three weeks ago and worked out a deal on two new side by sides. Me and my buddy went through the financing process and got approved and they scheduled us a delivery date. As the delivery date approached they called and rescheduled the delivery date to a couple of days later. When that delivery date approached they called me and said that they were going to charge us more for the shipping. I told Hunter that we had already worked out all the details and I expected him to get both of those side by sides delivered as promised. Since then he has completely ghosted me and my buddy. I can’t get him or his boss to call us back. I think it’s really screwed up that they would run my credit, get the details of the deal worked out and then a week later try to change the terms of the deal and when I pushed back saying that wasn’t what we agreed on they completely ghost us, I would say anyone looking for a side by side go somewhere else. These folks are dishonest and in my opinion, if they treat you like this before they get your money, I can't imagine what they would be like after they get your money. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place.

  What a great dealership. Do not believe any bad reviews that you read about this dealership. The wife and I searched 2 counties for the perfect machine, price and dealership. We found it at Alpha Powersports. Both Hunter and Sean are amazing to deal with. What a great father and son local dealership. They are easy to get in touch with and very knowledgeable. No pressure at all, unlike the bigger dealerships. If you are looking to purchase, go to this dealership. You will not regret it. Super friendly and they actually care about their customers and doing the right thing. We will definitely be back again. Maybe a new boat in the spring 😁. Thank you guys.

  Where do I even begin. Dealing with Sean is like dealing with a child. If you are looking for a dealership who gets more wrong then right you are in the right place. While ordering my boat I was very specific with the layout that I wanted, yet it came all wrong. The boat came with no spud pole brackets, and was a double gun box model(I ordered with spud poles and a single gun box). The bill of sale was completely wrong. when I went to dmv I had issues getting my boat registered and paid taxes on taxes I already paid due to their crappy paperwork(Sean blames dmv). I left alpha with a boat not ready to go in the water because they couldn’t figure out what hub fit my prop and motor. They got the boat ready in front of me, I watched them put the incorrect oil in a brand new Yamaha outboard, I had to do an oil change before using my brand new boat. To top it all off Yamaha was running a promotion for Y.E.S. (Extended warranty) and they clearly got the paperwork wrong because I still don’t have the correct warranty, and Sean refuses to answer my texts or calls. There is more but I’ve already started to write a small novel. Stay far away from alpha. Take your hard earned money elsewhere.

  Needed hour meter wired into my 2026 tracker boat , simple job , I had hole drilled in dash , toke it to them because of authorized dealer for Mercury motors, $320 later , went to pick up the boat drive 100 miles /2 hours round trip , now light doesn’t work ! Leave boat over night make another trip to pick up ! Simple job not done right the first time , simple job two wires should have been 1:/2 hour, or hour max! Very disappointed! Buyer be wary!
