We purchased our 2024 camper off the lot in spring of 2025 when Camping World just opened their new retail/service store in Boyertown, Pa. We “newbies” received excellent service from the start. Sales helped us find the right travel trailer in our budget. Finance helped us through the purchase and explained our benefits with GoodSam membership, which by the way has been worth it. The retail shop has honored all our benefits as members including discounts and service perks. We had an issue with our door which was damaged prior to our time of purchase. Camping World service department helped advocate for our warranty repairs and as a result, Forest River honored our warranty. We couldn’t have been happier with the service we received thus far. The staff is polite, helpful and go above to provide excellent customer service. They have helped us learn so much about our camper since its purchase from explaining its parts to helping us purchase necessary items. I want to give a shout out to Colleen & Fred in retail for helping us find the right items for our new camper. Jordan in service was excellent in communicating our repair needs and educating us on care of our RV. I understand there were issues with the prior owners of this RV store before Camping World purchased their business. I can assure you that is not the present case. I give them 5+ stars for customer satisfaction.

Asked for my id to look at a camper. When I said I did not bring my id the lady said your driving without your id. No my husband is driving. Not warm and friendly. I purchased my camper 4 years ago you could walk around and everything was open. No Id required to look.

I was contacted heavily by camping world to bring my RV to them to have them evaluate it for purchase. I was a little reluctant because I know that big outfits like this typically lowball you, but I had no idea that I would have the experience that I did. I brought to them my 2014 Minnie Winnie class C RV that had under 20,000 miles on it. I made it very clear to camping world that there were some customizations made inside it, which only made it nicer, looking and more attractive . Nothing major. Sutton conducted the evaluation. He was neither friendly nor unfriendly but after evaluating my unit, he came out with a list and he put a notebook over it. You know like the old days when you were buying a car and they don’t let see how much they’re going to try to screw you. He ticked off all the things he thought was wrong with my RV and tried to offer me $8000 for it. He was even commenting that he thought that the offer was a bit of an insult, but that was the best he could do. During that time he tried to tell me that the Cummins generator was not working, which was a total lie. I told him to go back and check it again before I went back there to check it with him, and then he came back and said that it did indeed work. It only had 160 hours on it. The only things he could identify wrong with my RV was that it needed a new blower for the AC and heat in the driver’s part, it needed a new switch for the awning, and it needed a rear back light. End of discussion. Other than that, the RV was fine. He tried to tell me that the book value of my RV was $18,000. He was incorrect. The book value of the van that holds the RV is $18,000 but when you look up the value of the RV itself, it starts at $28,000 and goes to $35,000 depending upon whether it is excellent, good, fair, or unsatisfactory condition. Needless to say, I took my RV away and sold it two days ago for $32,000 privately. I fixed the blower which cost me $35. I fixed the switch for the awning which cost me $23. And we put a new bulb in the rear light for next to nothing. I got the value for my RV within the range of its book value. I don’t know if he thought I was stupid woman who knew little about what I owned or just desperate. I was neither. I would stay away from this place. I think they are deceptive and shady. It was a real eye opener. I did think they were going to lowball me but I had no idea that they would be looking to give me next to nothing for something that they would sell for $35,000. How much money does a place like this really need to gobble up? I wouldn’t waste your time.
