Had this device installed. Broke my windshield twice but replaced by the shop. The bad guy is the device. Constant blow harder since I had the handheld. Blew so hard I ran out of air. Two months later and violation 3 twice. They don’t tell you that after you shut off your vehicle you have to wait two min to see if you have to submit a test. So that happened. Constant blow harder. $105 every violation and they say you can dispute but the phone operator make the decision on the phone. Go a better device!!

After arrivingI checked in.The office staff and the shop staff were very welcoming and over achieved by meeting some of my personal needs they did not have to accommodate. They were very personable to work with and the owner personally walked me through on proper usage and care of the device that was installed in my vehicle. The following day I received a phone call from their office with additional information regarding the install they had performed on my vehicle in order to save me any additional “leg work” on my own. The professionalism displayed by the whole staff is a standard in which all others should follow.
Thanks ,

Frequently Asked Questions About Intoxalock Ignition Interlock
How does an interlock device work?
An ignition interlock device (IID) is a small breathalyzer installed in your vehicle to prevent it from starting if alcohol is detected on your breath. Before driving, you'll blow into the device. If your breath alcohol concentration (BrAC) is below the programmed limit, the car starts. Periodic retests occur during your trip to ensure continued compliance. To read more on Intoxalock, you can read our ignition interlock device guide.
What is the cost of an ignition interlock device?
The installation of an ignition interlock device, often called a car breathalyzer, typically costs between $70 and $150. This one-time fee is paid at the start of your lease and covers the service center's labor to install the device in your vehicle. Payment is made directly to the service center at the time of installation. For more on cost breakdowns, you can read our cost of ignition interlock device guide.
How do I use my interlock device?
Using an IID is simple. To start your vehicle, blow into the device as directed. If the device detects no alcohol, your car will start. You may be prompted for "rolling retests" while driving, where you’ll blow into the device again to confirm compliance. How-to videos are also available on the Intoxalock mobile app.
Where do I get an ignition interlock device?
Ignition interlock devices can be installed at certified service centers nationwide. Intoxalock offers a convenient network of locations and helps you schedule an installation appointment near you. What happens if I fail a breath test on my ignition interlock device?
If you fail a breath test, your vehicle will not start, and the device will log the event. Depending on your state’s regulations, multiple failed tests may trigger additional penalties, such as lockouts or reporting to your monitoring authority. Intoxalock devices allow you to retest after a short wait if alcohol is no longer detected. Always follow your state’s guidelines to remain compliant.
Can I install an ignition interlock device in a vehicle I don’t own?
