  ⭐ 1-Star Review – Horrible Experience at Tommy’s Car Wash (Brampton) I had an awful experience at Tommy’s Car Wash on November 19th, It was a clear, sunny morning with dry roads—no snow, no rain, no weather issues at all. As I was in the entrance line, front of the exited door of Tommy’s car wash, my vehicle slipped on a patch of ice that had formed from the undried water dripping off cars leaving the wash. There were no warning signs, and even with snow tires, my car still lost control because this ice was caused by their equipment failure, not the weather. I reported everything to the shift in-charge, Nav, who openly admitted their heating system wasn’t working, which is why the ice formed. He documented the incident and promised someone would follow up. No one ever did. after 24 hours without any update, I returned and spoke with another shift in-charge, Thorn. He dismissed the entire situation, blamed the “Canadian weather,” and refused to acknowledge that the ice came from their own broken system. He told me to wait for the manager, Ravi. I ended up waiting two hours for Ravi. When he finally came, he tried to dodge responsibility and play with words. He eventually went to look at the area, and then suddenly claimed the lineup area “isn’t part of Tommy’s Car Wash.” He said he needed to speak with the “authority” and would get back to me. Ten minutes later, he called and said they can’t do anything because they “don’t control the weather,” and even accused me of speeding and making a sharp turn—completely false. My vehicle is now not drivable because of their negligence, and they still refuse to take responsibility. While speaking with others, I also learned that another customer’s car was scratched inside the wash, and they didn’t take responsibility for that either. This business clearly does not value customer safety or accountability. Share this so others don’t end up in the same situation.

  NO WIFI. pretty clean wash. I would grade it better then a gas station wash but lower then in and out. I would come here for the service. There’s one cash/credit/debit entrance and two app entrances, the open gates according so there’s not too much traffic going into the wash. There’s no guard rail at the entrance so you’ll have follow the guy instructing you in. Set the car in neutral. Free vacuum and the little kits is where the value is. The membership fee is a little pricey but maybe worth it if discounted.

  Significant Damage to My Vehicle! I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with my experience at this car wash. My vehicle had just arrived on a trailer from Vancouver to the GTA. It was late in the evening and I only wanted the windows and mirrors cleaned so I could safely drive home in the dark. The car wash was conveniently close to the pickup lot, but the driver’s side of my car was very dirty from the transport, and I was concerned about running it through a wash in that condition. The attendant assured me that it was completely safe, and was far more focused on trying to sell me a membership than on giving honest advice. Trusting their reassurance, I went through the wash—only to discover the next morning that not only had the car not been cleaned properly, but the driver’s side body, trim, windows, and even the paint had been significantly damaged. In proper lighting, and especially once a professional detailer cleaned the car, deep scratches became visible across the paint and even into the window glass. Every auto detailer who inspected it told me the same thing: this kind of damage comes from taking an extremely dirty vehicle through a car wash, where the dirt acts like sandpaper. I was forced to pay over $1,000 for paint repair and ceramic coating, and there are still scratches that went right into the paint. The window remains damaged as well. To make matters worse, when I contacted the company, “Christian” sent me three extremely low-resolution video clips—just a few seconds long, taken from far away—showing my wet car driving out of the wash at nearly 10 p.m. He claimed the light snowfall during my drive home somehow caused the damage, which is completely unrealistic and frankly insulting. I trusted this business based on the attendant’s reassurance, and that trust resulted in expensive, permanent damage to my vehicle. Given the lack of accountability and the dismissive response I received, I cannot recommend this car wash to anyone. If your vehicle is even slightly dirty—or if you value your paint—stay far away. The photos show the vehicle before the car was (evening), after the car wash (day), scratches underneath the still dirty car, scratches after detailing. The window remains completely scratched up. In response to the business reply. The car was in perfect condition prior to thr car was. I have the video and photos taken prior to shipping. The car was only taken to the detail shop to clean in after the poor cleaning of the car wask. Their was no slush or mud on the road travelled home. It was a dry road with light snow starting to fall only ion Brampton and not on the remainder of the trip. The scratches are consistent with a number of other reviews on this site. It is frustrating when you find the rare business that does not take accountability and makes far fetched excuses to your faces. Looking at a wet car coming out of a car wash at a distance on a few seconf poor resolution video is amazing to me. The car body was in perfect condition and that can be proven. The car was too filthy for their car was and, as many industry professionals have said looking at it, was like using sandpaper on the vehicle. I was mislead by the attendant and his focus was not my car but selling memberships. I would advise people to stay away.

  Just signed up for the month with the #1 works, went in came out car still dirty at the back, barely dry. Spoke to the attendant, told me to go again as I have the app. Go again, nope, seems to be missing the area around my rear plate holder and the hyped 'Tommy Dry' is not very good. I don't see the Fragrance infusion, ceramic body wax, or 'Red Hot Cleanser' I'll be cancelling after my month and free bonus month. Feeling buyers remorse.

  Overall, I love the concept of this car wash. The wash itself, was as expected. The upgraded my wash complimentary, which was a nice gesture. The two gentlemen I interacted with were both upbeat and professional. The complaint I have has to do with the vacuums: the suction was very good and the hoses easily disconnected from the vacuum head. I tried 3 different vaccums and experienced the same issue. It was explained that the issues are known and they are waiting on parts to fix it. Considering the business has only been open for a few weeks, I would expect better. The suction wasn't enough to pick up small leaves or tiny pebbles. While I am certain there were vaccums on site that were functioning properly, I shouldn't have to search out the good ones. I'd assume their equipment would be tested regularly and put out of operation if not up to a certain standard. I will give this place another try when I'm in the area.
