- PGPeter Gembka3 days ago1.0If I could put a negative star, I would. I had rainbow muffler work on my transmission. I first got told it would be finished by Monday when I brought it In Saturday. Called that Monday, my car was not done. Tuesday, nope. I asked the person that Tuesday is there anyone who could help me out with my car and he responded with “to be honest no”. I was without a car for two weeks. I kept getting the run around. Finally when I got the car I thought all was fixed. Nope. Same code popped back up. I took it back up and the guy told me that this is what happens when you don’t buy a new valve body and just the solenoid. They tried to sell me on a computer which they failed at because they did not reach out to me at all about it. I find out today they replaced the wrong part in my transmission. So now I have to buy that part and fix it myself. My question to rainbow muffler: what did you do with my part that was perfectly fine? Also to add they failed to put everything back in place. A heat shield is missing above the valve body. Rainbow muffler screwed me. If you care about your car at all, don’t take it to Rainbow Muffler.

However, I was pleased to be seen on such “short-notice.” I will say, Dustin has a phenomenal customer service skills, both over-the-phone and in-person! Dustin had a calming and almost energetic tone, desiring to help me and other customers that I observed! Nevertheless, the pre-inspection went great! The mechanic (and Dustin) kindly showed me what future work needed to be done and personal insight on the car’s condition! Overall, a pleasant experience!
