    I was in there with my partner a few night a go. We were in need of assistance. I was loosing tire pressure quick and didn’t know how to fix it. I pulled into the advance auto parts in uniontown ohio. And thank god because I’m from west Virginia and I still had 2 hours of drive time to go. So I pulled in. The lady working (Desiree) had told me that she couldn’t really fix my tire but it was just us and honestly I have never really done anything mechanical before. I told her I was okay with her helping me. So she went to work helping me. She showed me where my spare was and where my Jack was she had tools in her car she brought over to help. She got my car jacked up put on the spare we found the hissing noise and I went in and (Paul) the young man at the counter helped me find the right stuff to plug the whole. We got it plugged she was kind enough to take the spare back off and put my tire back on and toque my tires to specifications and then proceeded to go above and beyond and aired my tire up! And I made it home!! I didn’t have to spend extra money on a hotel for the night. You truly have selfless compassion workers here. I appreciated them more than you know! You should give them a raise or something.

    Stopped in for a shift fork for a Jeep. The employee told me it would have to be ordered and would be there Monday after 3. Tuesday I looked at the receipt and notice I was charged for 2 different parts. One at 74.00 and the other at 22.00 and some change. When I stopped to pick up my part I questioned why I was charged a 74 deposit for a 22.00 part. I was told that the one they ordered was 74.00 and I asked about the other one and the women taking care of me(may have been the manager) told me that she wasn't sure what the 22.00 part was but they had ordered the 74.00 part. I immediately told them to return it I could go to summit and get it for under 20.00 that I did not approve the 74.00 part only the 22.00 one that they did not have. She returned the 74.00 then told me they could not return the 9.00 shipping fee it's corporate policy. At this point I'm frustrated. Not only did you order a 74.00 part without my consent but you can't return the 9.00 shipping fee on the 22.00 part that they couldn't get. All she could say was it was policy. I.dont get how you cant return the 9.00 when it wasn't shipped and the store that supposedly had it didn't have it. Now I'm missed because not only can they not return the 9.00 but the system don't show the 22.00 so they have nothing to return that money to without shorting her drawer. Yes I left mad and chipped the tires when I left. I gave my self 10 minutes and decided to call to once again figure out how they can charge me 22 dollars for a part and 9.00 to ship it when they have nothing in the computer showing it and didn't have the part so it wasn't shipped but can't return my money. This location has really went down hill in the last 4 years. I tend to go to another location instead of this location for this reason. For now On I will not shop at advanced due to their policies, lack of knowledgeable employees and poor customer service. I work hard for my money and don't appreciate having money stolen from me. I wish I had the receipt to attach but I left it the day I was mad and walked out. I got my parts same day and cheaper at summit.

    My battery died and I called and spoke with a nice young man named Paul who not only got all the information I needed, but held the battery at my request until I was able to get there after a jump. This young man was courteous, knowledgeable, and had the best attitude. When I got there, he double checked all the information and rang my purchase and also changed the battery for me in the parking lot. Paul is an absolute rock star and I will be returning for future purchases.

    The old man and short guy/girl needs to stop giving automotive advice and just put the parts in the bag not one thing that came out of their mouths was even close to accurate. The shop i took my vehicle to was actually amazed at the things they were saying i would list all of the misinformation that was spewing from their mouths but it would litteraly take an hour to type it all out. Be careful taking advice from anyone there they work at a parts store and not a mechanic shop for a reason there was a clear puddle of anti freeze leaking from a hose and the guy/girl person insisted that wasn't where it was leaking from and it infact was the issue 🤣
