Had communications that day of my scheduled appointment, and I was told the 2 cars I was coming to look at would be ready. So I drive an hour away to get there and the person I was scheduled with wasn't there. The car had been sold 4 days prior and the other car wasn't even on that lot. It was in Cincinnati. And my appointment was for Springfield. The salesman I felt like I was throwing to Didn't seem concerned. The sales manager guy could care less. So I drove an hour back home. They won't be getting any of my business.

Purchase experience was average compared to other dealerships I've worked with in the past. Listed vehicle I purchased did not have major accessories that were listed to be with the vehicle. Online purchase price was almost a fight to keep and was never mentioned until I brought it up. And when it come time to question certain aspects of the vehicle pre-inspection after delivery, the answers fell to the waste side. I get it.. a vehicle is listed for sale as-is but a quality dealership will fully stand behind a vehicle they sell. If there is an issue, they will correct it, within reason. JW of Springfield missed the mark on this, I think.

Josh was great to work with! Super friendly, helpful, and made the whole car-buying process easy and comfortable. He really took the time to make sure I got what I wanted and never made me feel rushed or pressured. The only thing I’d note is that some of the paperwork wasn’t fully ready when we came back to finalize the loan — a small hiccup after everything else went so smoothly. Overall, Josh is awesome and I’d definitely recommend working with him if you’re looking for a new car!

My daughter bought a 1984 Kia from a used car dealer in Springfield, Ohio. The car ran for a week, and it quit. She contacted the dealer and since she didn’t spend an additional $900 for a warranty, they wouldn’t help her. Since she no longer had transportation, she lost her job. We visited her in October and when researching her Kia, I discovered the Kia’s VIN was part of a class action lawsuit for engine repair or replacement. My wife and I decided to stop at Jeff Wyler Kia in Springfield, Ohio on the 14th of October see if they would help my daughter. We spoke to Austin Nickell and explained the situation to him. We also told him that our daughter found another job, but she is walking a mile and a half to work along a busy 4 lane highway. Austin was very helpful and after talking to the service department he told us to have her car towed to their dealership and they would file a claim with Kia for her. She had the car towed to the dealership the next day. She left a message for Austin to call her, but he never did. I tried several times to contact Austin via his cell phone, but he wouldn’t answer or return my call. I even left a message for a manager to call me, but no one contacted me. I ended up calling Kia Customer Service and they provided a case number for me to follow-up. I had to call Customer Service three times before they were able to talk to the dealership. The service department told them that the car never had a Knock Sensor Detection System and wasn’t eligible to be repaired under the class action lawsuit. I have to assume they are being honest. Regardless of the lack of communications with the staff at Jeff Wyler Kia, I decided to buy a new Kia for my daughter. I called and spoke to another salesperson (anyone other than Austin) and told them that I wanted to buy a new car for my daughter. Gave the salesperson all the information to run a credit report and the car I wanted to buy. Within an hour I received a call from Austin. I let him know that I didn’t appreciate him not returning my calls or my daughter's call. He told me that he was told to help the other salesperson since they were new. Austin promised to call me back within 30 minutes with all the numbers. Still haven’t heard back from him! I left a message at the dealership that I wasn’t happy with the staff for the way I was treated. Shortly afterwards, I received a call from a “floor manager”. Gave him all the information and I'm still waiting for a call back. It’s just as well because I will never buy anything from Jeff Wyer.
