It's shops like this that give the whole auto service industry the reputation of taking advantage of people, especially women. My high pressure fuel pump is bad in my 2023 Equinox. I had a personal mechanic run diagnostics. I called the dealership to talk about the recall on the 2021-22 models and asked if they were aware of common problems with it. My bumper to bumper warranty is expired because I'm at 52k miles. He said the part "can be" covered on the powertrain warranty good for 60k miles. He said I could tow it up there, they would confirm the HPFP is, in fact, the problem, and it, again, "can be" covered with the powertrain. Well, they confirmed the HPFP is the problem, they want to charge me for the diagnostics, and now came back with not being covered on the powertrain warranty. I feel misled. I submit, he knew the part wasn't covered on powertrain, but wanted my car there to start charging me money for a diagnostics that was only done to confirm a problem for warranty purposes. I already had my own diagnostics done, and I told him what the problem was. I can't get a manager to reach back out to me, and once I challenged the service tech that I dealt with, he was rude and unfriendly once I told him I felt misled. I had my own mechanic to do the work if it wasn't under warranty. The tech made me feel confident it would be and flat lied to me knowing it wouldn't be, just to start running that tab on me. I'm pissed for that and for buying a Chevy vehicle now that I'm discovering the issues with them. Trash.

My truck broke down in Sturgis, South Dakota while on vacation, and the Chevy dealer there was able to get my DEF system functioning again long enough for me to get home. On my way back, the DEF system acted up again. I dropped my truck off at Wyler in Springfield, and they told me they'd get it right before calling me.
After some diagnostic work, they determined the DEF tank and pump system needed to be replaced. I had an extended warranty that I purchased four months ago with the truck from another Chevy dealer. When they called, they told me Chevy was covering the parts under warranty, and it would cost me nothing.
This is the first Chevy I've owned in over 25 years. I had some serious doubts about the customer service and the truck itself after just 7,000 miles on my Silverado. To say I was ecstatic and thrilled with the customer service and the quick turnaround would be an understatement.
They had my truck for just two days, fixed the problem, offered me some valuable advice on the truck, and sent me on my way with $0 out of pocket.
Thank you to the Jeff Wyler Chevy Service team!

Bobby and team are excellent. I used to take my truck to SVG in Urbana but now I exclusively go to Jeff Wyler Springfield. They quickly diagnosed the issue, explained what needed to be done in clear terms, and worked efficiently. Bobby also went above and beyond to make sure I got a replacement vehicle while I had to wait on a part. I highly recommend.

The truck we bought, though it was used , was making a clicking noise immediately after buying it but thought maybe it was nothing. Went to get it checked out and it was a 500 $ repair. This was immediately after getting the truck and Jeff Wyler said service thoroughly checked it over. We have the two year free service for getting a used car here but will not be using it and going to another Toyota dealership. I’d rather pay for good service then deal with this

Generally if I have a poor experience I just do not leave a review at all. However; this was a particularly bad experience. I was experiencing an issue with my car and we called our local mechanic. When we described the issue he told us it was a known issue and to contact the dealer because Chevrolet will more than likely cover the cost. When we called the customer service representative was very unhelpful, rude, and acted like we were just trying to get a deal. She said she had never heard of anything like this and it would be $150+ to look at it. We actually picked the car up and called another dealership. They actually said it was a know issue and the repair was indeed covered.
