My husband and I went up there today to look at a used Outback with the intent to buy if we liked it. Camper could have been fine, but the way they do business is a joke. This camper was a trade in and sat there for more than a month. We have corresponded with the salesman a few times before today. When we get there, we are advised that they knew the camper was damaged when they took it in on trade, but they would be happy to pass along the cost of those repairs to us and fix it. Apparently there is one creature on earth that lies more than a used car salesman---yep---the used camper salesman. This salesman forgot he already told us they knew it was damaged and later stated that he just found out it was damaged while we were enroute to the dealership. Thanks Ken! We will not be back.

- SUShawn UngerDec 27, 20251.0Stop in after seeing a camper online. Dealer(Matt) was more interested in showing us more expensive units. After finally getting our point across to what we wanted to see, he takes us to the unit we wanted to see. At the unit he tells me they can't keep them on the lot. " Best sellers ". We did look at a unit beside to compare. He told us he could run the numbers to compare. Then he asked how much we would be putting down. I told him zero. I could see right there he was done with us. He said he had to get the manager and that would take a little bit. There was only 2 other people in the store at the time. He comes back with a payment plan 2 times the price on their internet advertising. And that was with money down. When I said we was not putting money down he turned and walked away from us. The entire visit outside of the front desk girl was entirely rude. Between rudeness and the difference in advertising price i would not recommend this place.

We pay for the extra "coverage" for repairs to the interior, yet last year when we notified this store of a defect in a cushion, they didn't fix it when they had the camper nor did they tell us a reason. This year at the end of the season, we again took our camper in for winterizing and my husband told them about the cushion. Again they didn't fix it and said it's not covered under the extra coverage we pay for. It seems like it should be fixed anyway given it was a DEFECT from when we bought it BRAND NEW. Every time we've dealt with the service department, they are less than interested in answering questions or returning phone calls. I'll never purchase another camper from Camping World in Huber Heights. They kiss your behind until you buy, then you're out of luck.
