Don't park at metropolis. Just don't. Tons of problems with unfair treatment of customers

Warning DO NOT park here unless you want to wait an hour and a half to be let out of the garage after your event! Completely unacceptable and I do not recommend anyone to park here!

BEWARE: Find another place to park!!
I parked at this garage owned by Metropolitan for an overnight stay at the Hilton Netherlands. I scanned the QR code and completed the form with my license plate and credit card number as instructed. I was charged $31.50 and thought all was well.
Then I received a parking notice via mail from Parking & Transportation Compliance Inc requesting payment of $45 due to my non-payment, requesting immediate payment or they would repo my car. I called P&TC, Inc and spoke to two very unhelpful reps stating that they were collecting on behalf of Metropolitan and my bank statement for the payment doesn’t satisfy my obligation. They want a receipt, which was not generated since I used the QR code as a guest.
I’ve connected both Metropolitan and P&TC via email and after a week of constant back and forth with Metropolitan stating my invoice paid in full and P&TC Inc stating that that Metropolitan’s confirmation isn’t good enough, I am no closer to resolution.
Most likely going to have to retain counsel to resolve because I can’t be the only one impacted by these predatory practices.

Exiting this garage was a painful process and way more complicated than it needed to be. I prepaid for parking on SpotHero. When I was leaving, I went through the first door, then the gate arm would not come up and there was no attendant and no place to scan my code. I texted the number on the sign, and they sent me a link to pay to leave. Well, I already paid on SpotHero, so that's not helpful. I called the number on the sign, and the girl eventually opened the gate, but she said they didn't have proof that I had paid. I had to email the receipt to Metropolis. We will see if they take it or if they try to charge me again or something.

Good location but hilarious prices. Don't expect to get a receipt from the payment machines if they work at all.
