- JBJake BerneckerFeb 9, 20241.0Bought my 2019 Hyundai Tucson from the Jeff Wyler across the street on Spring Grove in Sept 2022. Was pursuaded by the manager there to purchase an additional warranty. Ended up paying $7k over sticker price. Fast forward to February 2024 (have had the car for 1.5 years). The now notorious engine issues with Hyundai's have resulted in my car getting a flashing engine light at highway speeds when accelerating. I made an appt at this shop. They wanted $4250 and change for a catalytic converter, spark plugs, and ignition coil. Holy mother of God what an absolute scam of a place. And absolute shame on Hyundai in general for not owning up to their issues and fixing them. I'm giving them another $4k on a car they already ripped me off on. Avoid Hyundai in general, but if you are unfortunate enough to already have one, do not go to this place. Go to any local ma and Pa shop and they will be honest with you and reasonable.
