Never have to wait for more than 15 or 20 minutes at check point but I usually fly really really early in the morning so maybe later in the day it's a little more hectic
- BBBillJun 8, 20251.0I had a reservation for long-term parking made 2 weeks in advance. When I arrived on memorial weekend the parking lot I had reserved for was closed with cones across the opening. It was the same for the next parking lot. I went to the next farther away lot and that was closed too. There there was a parking person apparently in a car, to whom I showed my reservation and he said I should go back to the original lot, some one would let me in. Of course there were cars doing the same thing behind me, and none of the three security guys around the lot to whom I asked questions, or the parking lot guy, were of any assistance in the end. I did eventually get a spot by moving the orange cones blocking entrance to the long-term lot and driving around it and my CR code worked at the gate and there was a lone spot for me to use. The lesson? Don't rely on reservations or parking at the Syracuse airport. If it's busy all the lots will be full and you will miss your flight. No one in the terminal either who could deal with parking issues.
