Horrible automated parking which causes long lines. No grace period which causes $10 parking for 1 minute. The security guards are usually in their own world so they don’t catch people doing all types of illegal stuff everywhere.
I drive to anew Rochelle to avoid parking here.

I think this will be my First Ever negative review but it is so well deserved for 5 reasons.
1. When you drive up to the gate the sign says No ticket needed just drive in.
2. When you cannot get out because the exit sign says no ticket needed gate will open, and it does not, you see only a 'Scan QR Code' symbol, which assumes you have a smartphone.
3. You look further around you for help and see a small parking rate sign saying $8.45 for 2 hours, first time you are aware of a fee.
4. If you have a smartphone, QR codes are not blocked, you accept being forced to associate your phone number with your scanned license plate (I do not), you sit there signing your information into an App you don't want, the charges are $12.50 instead of $8.45 which is posted.
5. when 3 of the 4 exit lanes are also blocked by people experiencing the same issue and also looking for an employee, you realize you are being extorted for your information by a company you have zero trust in. Who knows where the info shows up!
You may think $12.50 is a reasonable parking rate in Manhattan, because you park downtown, but you are not downtown and you are shopping at a store who's construction requires parking spaces to meet zoning requirements. You should not also be required to have a smartphone and agree to have your information extorted, especially without being warned of it all before you enter! I had to get out of the car to read the small print on the sign, can you even see it?

First time here and the parking was a joke. No prices posted outside, then got charged $12.50 for under an hour. Feels like a scam. Parking rates should be clearly displayed before drivers enter, not discovered afterward. Very disappointing and unacceptable.

won't be coming to this Costco anymore because of the parking fee increase.
