The clerk told me he didn’t have change and told me to just give him $25 and he would adjust the time on his end. So I gave him the $25 and he went to retrieve my vehicle. Flash forward to today, I parked in this lot again and I got my ticket from the same employee that was there that day, as well as an employee in an arm sling. Nobody said anything to me and I went on my way. When I returned to pick up my car around 4:15pm, as I went to pay, the employee in the arm sling told me I only paid his coworker $11 , to which I told him that was impossible as the whole issue was that I didn’t have exact change. I had 2 $20 bills and a $5, my total was supposed to be $32. It’s not my fault they didn’t have change on hand. He kept insisting I only gave $11 which is impossible because I had to pay and the employee checked the amount before getting my car in the first place. So he continues making a scene in front of other customers insisting that I shorted his coworker meanwhile he wasn’t there and the coworker that received the $25 was there in the morning when I dropped off and handed me the ticket to begin with. I told him that I wanted to clear it up with the employee I saw in the morning and he said he wasn’t there anymore. I asked for his supervisors contact information which he refused to give, he also refused to identify himself. He stormed off with a nasty attitude and gave me my keys back and made me get my own car. He then banned me from using the garage in the future. This is unacceptable to slander my name over miscommunication on the employees fault. I would have paid the $11 with no issue if I wasn’t being accused of short changing the employee. It is unprofessional and needs to be addressed. To accuse me over a situation he wasn’t even present for is actually crazy. I would be more than happy to return to identify these employees as they have likely committed fraud and pocketed money from other customers.
