This was a poor experience. We scheduled an appt to check excess oil consumption on our Kia sorrento( TSB). Dropped the car off at 10:00 and never heard from them all day. Left several texts and no response. Second day, they said it was being reviewed but the recalls would take time( 3 of four were irrelevant). What should have been a one hour appt turned into a three day affair. Finally I connected with our original service consultant mid day of day 3. Marshall pushed it through.
Destination kia needs to completely re access their service dept. Why did they accept an appt if they couldn’t get to the vehicle for 3 days? One consultant actually told me that a scheduled appt doesn’t mean the work would be done that day or the next! Imagine that. You schedule an appt so that your car sits in their lot untouched!
I will never buy another Kia and I look forward to not working with destinations Kia in the future.

I visited Destination Kia for the first time while in town with my late mother’s car. I needed to make sure it was safe to drive back home, about 6–8 hours away. The woman at the front desk was incredibly kind and compassionate, making sure I received a multi-point inspection, oil change, and tire rotation.
Every staff member I interacted with was friendly and welcoming. The waiting area was comfortable, the coffee was good, and checkout was quick and easy. I truly appreciate how thoughtfully I was treated during such a difficult time. Thank you to everyone at Destination Kia.

I had an excellent experience with my service consultant, Donel. She was very informative, and a pleasure to speak with. However, after my car was being serviced for nearly 7 hours, I was told my car was ready and I could come in to pay. I had over $2k worth of services provided (including a NYS inspection), and when I was given my keys to leave, I noticed that my old inspection sticker was not replaced with a new one. I was about to go back inside and ask Donel for an updated inspection sticker, but my car was left by a technician in the middle of the parking lot (not in a designated parking spot). Before going inside, I went to move my car into a spot so I wasn’t impeding traffic. Upon entering my car, I noticed the battery wouldn’t start. I’ve never had issues with my car not starting, until this experience. Donel was super friendly about the situation and made sure my battery was looked at before heading home, however, this experience left me feeling frustrated especially since there was no concrete answer provided for why my battery was dead.

I brought my car in for maintenance a couple of weeks ago. I was about to call an Uber to head home when Kia informed me a shuttle could bring me home. I accepted and they told me it would be a few minutes. Over a half hour later, they admitted they didn't know when a shuttle would be ready and advised me to take an Uber home ... a waste of my time.
I picked up my car later that day while a snowstorm was happening. After getting in my car, I realized they had lowered the window in my rear passenger side for some reason. My car was filled with a puddle of water and my child's car seat was drenched. I had to pick up my child from daycare and have them sit in a drenched car seat to get home. I then spent the entire evening during a snowstorm drying out my car and uninstalling/drying/reinstalling the car seat ... a complete waste of my time.
I requested a refund. Kia's response was a generic apology email a week ago saying they'd be calling me to schedule a cleaning of that section my car (which I had JUST explained I had to already clean because of their error). They NEVER called. And when I tried to respond to the email (which said I could directly respond to), it bounced back as an email address that can't be sent to. So now way of responding. Again, a complete waste of my time.
Also, my radio has stopped working since I brought it in. How does that happen?!
And this is NOT the first issue with this facility. The first time I brought it in for a basic recall fix, they inputted the wrong car / license plate for my account. I sat there for 3 hours before they realized my car had been sitting there completed 2 hours earlier but they didn't know whose car it was to make me aware it was completed. So they just had me sitting there ... again, wasting my time.
I would advise anyone to avoid the poor customer service at this site. I have never written a Google review before but this experience certainly warrants it.
