    Your dealership came through when my car was out of commission due to a check engine light. I’m up here in the Albany area because of a family emergency when the check engine light came on. My wife and I were trying to get back home.Marshall Blakes was super to work with. We had been to another dealership with the car and it was there for about two weeks. Marshall said he would get us home! If I was to move back to the Capital District Desination Kia would be my dealership based just on the service department.

    I love destination Kia. We have purchased 3 cars from them in the past 8 years. Everything was great with the purchase, but I really want to do a shout out to Daniqua Farmer in the service department. I had the pleasure of bringing my car in for service and having Daniqua help me at the service desk. I brought my car in for the regular oil change and also because my car kept beeping every time I stopped. When I talked to Daniqua, she was very knowledgeable. I explained what was happening and we thought it was a sensor. She said she would have the service department look at it and let me know. I went to sit down in the waiting area. Then, she came back and said "I think I know what it is." She asked me to go take a look at the car. We were able to see that my front drivers sensor was not there. She said for this, I might have to take it to the body shop on site after my oil change service was done. I went back to sit down, spinning out in my head about how much time and effort this would take. After she thought about it she came back talked to me and let me know the cost for doing a diagnostic and that since we already saw what it is, maybe she could just have them take the front bumper off and check to see if it may be that the sensor camera was just pushed back into the bumper. She said it would be just the 1 hour service fee. The thing I really appreciated about Daniqua is that she really tried to solve my problem for the least amount of money possible and the least amount of time for me. I can't even explain how valuable her customer service was that day. It actually made my week. I thought I was going to have to put my car in the body shop, make an insurance claim, get a rental car, and not know when I would get my car back. Instead, Daniqua, because of her great problem solving skills, made sure it was fixed in the 2 hours I had allotted for my Oil Change. I hope Destination Kia realizes what a great employee they have in Daniqua. Thanks for doing a great job Daniqua and thanks for hiring her, Kia.

    I’m sorry, but I do not like the service that Kia has. They slow slow slow when I Get my oil changed there I always end up saying I’m never going back. I leave flustered and frustrated. They never top me off with windshield wiper fluid. Nothing as a courtesy. In fact, I just recently was there drop my car off at 7:45 did not get out of there until 10:40 they charge me $35 just to check to see if my battery was good money hungry terrible service

    Destination Kia – Service Department I’ve had ongoing issues with the service department at Destination Kia, and unfortunately the customer service has been consistently disappointing. It took over a month of calling repeatedly just to get a response about my original concern. When my car was finally taken in for a seat repair, they kept it for almost three days, and no one called to let me know it was ready. I had to call multiple times to get updates, and even then I was told “they just have to do paperwork,” yet no one followed up. For a dealership service center, this level of communication—and lack of it—is unacceptable. I hope they improve their customer care because the experience so far has been frustrating and unprofessional.

    When I originally called to set up my first service call I mentioned to the service rep that the air bag cover on the passenger side a post was coming off. She told me to mention it when I came in for service which I did and at that time was told that I was signed up for express service and the mechanic might not be able to fix it. A note was put on the service request but nothing was done regarding the cover. Not very happy about this as I was told if it wasn’t done that I would have to make another appointment. I don’t live close by and was never told when I made the original appointment that this could happen! Poor communication on your part.
