- SESophie EDec 16, 20251.0I chose Tint World specifically because of their advertised Satisfaction Guarantee and paid a premium to have my headlights professionally retrofitted rather than doing it myself. Immediately after picking up my car, it began acting erratically. I was warned there might be a check engine light, but the issues went far beyond that-- the car experienced multiple warning lights, strange shifting behavior, and ABS alerts, making it feel unsafe to drive. Diagnostic codes clearly pointed to an electrical power issue. I contacted the shop multiple times, provided the exact codes, and repeatedly offered to bring the car back so they could inspect their work. Unfortunately, I was effectively ghosted and told they were not responsible, despite the timing lining up exactly with the install. After troubleshooting on my own, I discovered the root cause: the battery cable had never been tightened down and was making intermittent contact. This was a simple, obvious issue that would have been caught immediately if the shop had taken the time to look. I’m grateful the fix was easy and that no damage was done, but that’s not the point. I paid for professional service so I wouldn’t have to diagnose and fix installation-related issues myself. Mistakes happen-- refusing to stand by the work is what’s disappointing. If you’re considering this location, I recommend being very cautious and double-checking everything before leaving. The one bright spot was their office staff who were extremely friendly and helpful with my questions before and during the process.
