I was greeted by Newell at the front desk…he offered to give me something to drink & asked how he could by of help. Newell then called Jose Escarcega with whom I had an appointment. Jose is so easy to work with, listened to my needs & wants for purchasing a new vehicle. He was never pushy (my general opinion of car salesmen), just helpful & concerned that we find just what I wanted. He even drove home with me so my husband (medically disadvantaged) to see & try getting into/out of vehicle. All in all, a very pleasant experience, from beginning to end. Even tho’ I was determined to visit other dealers to see other makes out there we made a deal that day & I couldn’t be happier. Thank you Newell & Jose

Gonna start with their service department because it's the only thing that gave it a second star versus the one star. I've been here before for service and it's been middle of the road service. I came in, got my service done, and left. Nobody was worth mentioning, however today I had the pleasure of talking to Martin H. He was an exceptional service provider and made the experience better than usual. He was on point, provided me with the information I needed, and got the job done. After what I experienced today I think I will be doing my own services for basic maintenance and/or using a competitor. However, the sales team. What a dying breed. I've been hounded by both the sales team I bought my truck from back in Tennessee and now Findlay since paying my truck off and even previously before that where I've stated I am good with what I got. They got me today though with a lie. During my service I received a text from the dealership "If you'd like an in-person appraisal with one of our specialist, you'll receive a $20 target gift card as a token of appreciation for your time. Interested?" Sure, why not? I'm honestly considering trading in my now paid off truck for maybe something new and/or better. A gentleman named Joel S. came out to greet me. Invites me over to a table away from others. We get to talking about my plans, ideas, and the truck. We get to a point he asks if he can go check the truck out; I say sure; He goes out then comes back. He has talked to his manager at this point and given me a quote plus a tax credit if I was to trade in towards a new vehicle. It was as I expected financially what he'd come back with. It wasn't a bad number or anything I just am not one to make a decision like this without my significant other and in the moment. He kept asking what it'd take to do it right now and I had to remind him that I need time to make an adult decision affecting me and my spouse. He asks me to hold on and he goes to get his manager Amos M. At this moment I inquired about the 20 bucks which again isn't a issue, but now I'm starting to feel like it's a bait and switch as he tells me he has to inquire with his manager. Now his manager come over and he's an older gentleman with 40+ years of experience selling cars according to him. I felt like he did not listen to a single thing I said. Only looking at me like I'm a score to win to add to his paycheck. Every time I reminded him that I would not make a decision at this moment he kept pushing and pushing for a sale in this moment. Honestly, it wasn't anything I didn't expect. I finally got him to stop when I said I'd talk to my spouse and talk to them again later in the week while we are both not at work. At this point he's about to walk off and I inquire again about the 20 bucks since they've hounded me for five minutes about selling my truck right here and right now to get told "Oh, we're out." "We can get it for you in the future when you come back" There never was a gift card And that's where they absolutely lost the sale. I've spent about 30 minutes of my life sitting at a dealership now having two dudes stroke my ego about my truck and my lifestyle just to be lied to about half the things they've said. They've lost two possible sales because I need to upgrade my spouses vehicle they just couldn't listen to what I had to say and work with me. It's not about the 20 dollars to target of all places. It's not about poor service. It's not about asking questions. It's that a manager lied to me instead of just having a normal conversation.. I'm not playing a carrot and stick game with you. We're all grown adults. I hope dealerships are another thing that millennials kill off in the future. I am so blown away that this is the second time I've tried to work a deal and a dealership has twisted words or lied straight to me, my family, and others faces. Don't let my review stop you from shopping here if that's what you'd like to do. Just be educated on what you're doing and the things you're buying.

My story with Findlay goes back several months to a year I bought a 2019 Chevy Colorado and to say the least the truck was possessed by something... It was in and out of the shop more then I was able to drive it after going back and forth with the dealer they soon started to also see the bad luck that came with this truck after a motor replacement then we lost a radiator transmission leaks ECT we lost our extended warranty just due to the amount of repairs needed.. after expressing my concerns with some of the higher ups Findlay Chevrolet bent over backwards to get us into a brand new truck after everything that was said and done this company still tried to help me they truly do only care about the customer just do your self a favor skip the getting pissed off part and just talk to to them they truly do just want to help thank you Findlay for everything

On November 5th my car wouldn’t start. When I purchased my Tahoe, I purchased the extended warranty. I currently have 40k miles, so I’m now within the extended warranty. I live close to Team Chevy so I took it there. They told me my battery needed to be replaced. I paid 500$ (battery and oil change). December 2 my engine light came on. I drove it back to Team Chevy and they said it was the MAP sensor. We filed a warranty claim and replaced the MAP sensor. December 11th my check engine light came back on. I went back to Team Chevy. It was the same code( P0106). They tested the new MAP sensor and said it was operating properly. They cleared the code and told me to bring it back if it comes back on again. My engine light came on again, and I took it Findlay Chevy . I explained everything the advisor. This morning I was told the PCV hose was an aftermarket hose and kinked. I’m not sure how I can have an aftermarket hose when only Chevy has touched my car. I was told my extended warranty company was closed and unknown if it will be covered and we would have to wait till Monday. I work the weekends and have already missed enough work because of this. I paid the 250$ diagnostic fee, bought the hose from your parts department and had my son (a mechanic) put it on for me. Before I picked up my vehicle, I asked your advisor if the tech checked the intake manifold and the PCV valve. She told me “my tech checked everything” I asked her to put it on my paperwork that he checked those two things. I also questioned how he determined the PCV hose to be aftermarket. I explained no one but Chevy has touched my car. She asked “if I was calling her tech a lair”. I wasn’t calling anyone a lair. I was asking for how he came to his determination and to note that he checked those two things I requested. After all I did pay 250$ for the diagnostic. The least that could be done was those two things were checked and noted. My son replaced the PCV hose. There is motor oil inside the hose. This can be a sign of a clogged PCV valve, stuck valve, or blown/worn rings. All of this would have been discovered HAD the PCV valve and intake manifold checked, like I requested. I also requested to speak with the service manager, but I was told she is too busy to help me. All I want is my car fixed correctly. I shouldn’t have to go through all this trouble. I’ve already missed multiple days of work, spent money on a car rental, and paid your 250$ diagnostics fee. I’ve also emailed the General manager but he hasn’t responded. I still want my car properly inspected and fixed.

I’ll start with the positive reviews regarding the attention and effort that Brandon and his brother provided during the negotiation and buying process was definitely nice and not as stressful as the previous experiences that I have had at other places in years past. So, for them, I truly am grateful because they did provide some outstanding service. However, I am extremely disappointed, sad, upset, hurt, and lost all pretty much all of my confidence with the service department due to the amount of issues that I have encountered with my 2026 Vehicle. Unfortunately, my car has been pretty much back at the dealership the majority of the time ever since the middle of October, and here we are towards the end of December, and I still don’t have my vehicle. Every time that I was given my car back, there was a new issue, whether it was mechanical, electrical, engine making sounds, the surround sound echoing, etc, the list goes on. I recorded, documented every single issue that came up and constantly brought it back to them to have it inspected, only to come back to the same issue. You would think that a brand new 2026 vehicle would have absolutely zero issues, but instead, its cost me time, money, and the amount of headaches that I have lost count. I have brought my concerns to the managers in pretty much every department, to basically find out that my only options were to purchase a new car, or wait 6-12 months in order to come back and purchase a new vehicle, all while having to deal with the issues on a daily basis. At this point, I am dissatisfied with the experience post-purchase, more so with the service department due to the amount of unfixable issues that have risen. I am having to pay for a car that is still at the dealership, with zero resolution to any of the numerous reported complaints and proof provided. I do appreciate the attention when I was negotiating the terms and prices of the car, but everything since then has been a complete letdown and I don’t know whether to trust in the GM brand, or simply switch to another car brand in the future whenever I am able to purchase another car. For those considering to buy or recently bought a trax, equinox, cruise, listen to any engine issues, rattling sounds, electrical type issues because it’s not normal. Specially if you’re purchasing a brand new car.
