  Two weeks ago I got a chip in my windshield and went through my insurance (GEICO) since the repair had no deductible. GEICO referred me to Safelite. When I arrived, the technician told me the chip repair would “always leave residue” and strongly pushed me toward a full replacement. I specifically asked if the replacement would be the same as my OEM GMC windshield, and he assured me it was the same green-tint OEM equivalent. Based on that, I agreed. I followed every instruction they gave me: no car wash and no freeway driving for two full weeks. The first time I washed my truck—two weeks later—the entire lower rubber molding came off. On top of that, I could hear air and wind noise coming from the corners of the windshield. Clearly the installation was not done correctly. I contacted GEICO, who then contacted Safelite. Safelite refused responsibility for the damaged molding, calling it “wear and tear,” even though it was perfectly fine before their replacement. Their only offer was to “reseal” the windshield. So now I’m stuck with: A non-OEM, inferior windshield Poor installation that caused noise and air leaks Loose/damaged molding that Safelite denies responsibility for A truck that was in better shape before I walked through their doors This is unacceptable craftsmanship and even worse customer service. I trusted Safelite because of my insurance referral, and that was a mistake. Going forward, I will absolutely warn others about my experience.

  Quick to take your money, slow to provide quality service. Along with the incompetent staff at the front desk, I HAD THE WORST SERVICE at this location. They misinformed me of what I was getting (wanted OEM, but they gave me aftermarket without telling me). After the second replacement, the rain sensor was inoperable even after a 3hr calibration. Ive asked for my refund and already replaced my windshield from another, more competent vendor (American Auto Glass) but have yet to receive my refund after I was assured I'd get it A MONTH AGO. Unable to get a hold of anyone at the number listed.

  Horrible company & experience. For one of the most well known companies, they did not live up to their name. Horrible communication. Made an appointment online, as that was the easiest way to sense it takes 20 minutes to get a real person over the phone. I pay them on a Friday for the next available appointment, which is the following Wednesday. I wait the entire FIVE hour window, for the tech person to come and say they have the wrong window for my car. As annoying as it was, I understood things happen. He said he let his boss know and they’d contact me to for a new appointment with the right glass. I get no call but a text that someone is coming out the next day to get it done. (Great it was quick however, they didn’t communicate. What if I had to work? Or had things going on. The expect me to drop everything?) anyways next day comes and they come out and guess what? Wrong piece of glass again!!! Because whoever came out the day before didn’t relay the message. The tech apologized and said they’d be in contact with me. And guess what? No one reached out. I went the entire day, and right before they close. I called them to see what was going on and no one had an answer for me. We are well into the next week since…I had to wait the weekend. No call, no text, no update until I CALLED them days after. I called and spoke to a very ,very, very rude lady (doesn’t belong in customer service) who basically said me waiting was okay because I get a small compensation fee for waiting but wouldn’t be getting that until after my appointment which after almost 9 days after I originally paid was still not set up. Not to mention, I paid them before their service. I canceled my appointment. Asked for a refund. And took my business elsewhere. Horrible experience.

  Great service, wait time was not long. They kept me up to date with the progress and what to do afterwards for my windshield. Highly recommend!

  100/10 Louis’ service was amazing, super quick, very friendly, and informative. I know next to nothing about cars and he was great at walking me through the process and aftercare. Thank you Louis!
